Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

We had a fabulous evening at the Pub d'Orsay! Great pub environment, really nice staff - arrived early for our reservation (recommended) & were seated early. Great selection of beers! A seafood paella with 24 mussels surrounding the bowl - wow, spectacular & very tasty. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending this pub as a great place to eat & enjoy a drink.

Comme à chaque année, nous retournons à ce beau Pub avec un cachet bien à lui. La nourriture est excellente, l'ambiance est décontracté & le service est super. Nous avons été servi par William, il nous a bien conseillé pour apéro, vin & nourriture. Le tout avec son beau sourire. Je recommande ce Pub!

The food was delicious, the service friendly & professional! The pub itself is beautiful! There was a lot of noise since there's a lot of construction work going on nearby but we still had a very nice time!! Will be back if we visit Québec again.

Samedi soir dernier, 16 avril, nous sommes allés souper au Pud d'Orsay. Quelle déception! J'avais choisi ce resto pour les moules, qui apparemment sont les meilleures a Québec. Les moules marinières étaient beaucoup trop salées. Je ne me suis pas régalé. Petite portion de frites. Quant a mon conjoint il avait opté pour les fettucinis aux fruits de mer...on y retrouvait du saumon fumé en boîte. Ordinaire! Le service était correct. Le Pub d'Orsay? Non merci!
