About

Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

Fancy an evening with a British flavor?
A lively atmosphere, British playlist, and London-style happy hour await you!

Step inside Le Dorsay and immerse yourself in the atmosphere, laughter, and stories of a pub where every corner tells a piece of history.

Cheers!

D'Orsay Pub = good times guaranteed. 🍻 Had the lobster roll with fries (perfect) & mussels in white wine (amazing). Service was spot-on, & the vibe is lively. It's busy for a reason-go early or make a reservation unless you enjoy staring longingly at other people's food. One of the best pubs I've ever been to, hands down.

Ambiance chaleureuse, cuisine délicieuse (gastro-pub améliorée), service très moyen.

We popped into Pub D'Orsay for a patio drink...such a great vibe we ended up staying for 2 more plus dinner. Our waiter, Jonathan, was AWESOME!!! He was very accommodating, super friendly & just so nice! My husband had the butter chicken dish & it looked & smelled amazing! He said it was really good. Would definitely recommend.

Great place in the middle of the action. Cool pub with fresh beers (likely the best draft Guinness we had) the menu is appetizing. I took the fried chicken with butter style sauce, wow. My wife found the mussels were lacking taste which was improved with salt. The waiter was attentive to our needs & we had a very nice table close to the window

On s'y sent bien !

The Smiths, Bowie, The Cure…
