Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

Quel bonheur d'être reçu dans un restaurant avec tellement de gentillesse & d'attention! Le service est excellent! Nous avons débuté notre soirée avec un délicieux cocktail & une bonne Guinness en fût. Ensuite, en entrée, une délicieuse soupe chaudrée de la mer & le Tataki de thon WoW! J'ai trouvé la Paëlla succulente & mon conjoint a adoré les spaghettis sauce bolognaise. Nous n'avons pas pu résister aux frites lorsque nous les avons vues, elles étaient parfaites. La nourriture servie très chaude comme nous aimons. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner pour essayer les bergers, Poutine & autres délicieux choix sur le menu. J'oubliais, le dessert, gâteau chocolat & tarte sirop d'érable sublime. Merci à toute l'équipe du D'Orsay pour la soirée parfaite & magique dans ce magnifique décor féerique. Nous avions une table avec une vue magnifique sur le marché de Noël allemand. La beauté de l'endroit, la bonne nourriture très copieux & le service vaut la visite. Je vous le recommande!

We're from Montreal & as soon as we knew we were going to Quebec City we reserved at D'Orsay. This was our 2nd trip into QC City & second time at D'Orsay. Food: Delicious. Service: Excellent. Ambiance: Rustic Casual. Highly recommend. Looking forward to our next visit!!!!

The service & atmosphere for this restaurant was great. We had the taste of Quebec offering that was on that evening. Food was fresh, hot & delicious. This restaurant is situated on one of the most beautiful squares in the upper Vieux Quebec, also the site of the QC Christmas Market. Highly recommend this place!

Enjoyed a late lunch at this popular pub. French martini was dangerously delicious. Ordered seafood chowder, poutine, & paella & all were very tasty. Ate at the bar & enjoyed the food with the hot sauces that were there. Staff was friendly. Overall great time at this classy joint. Would recommend!
