Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

C'était notre première visite à ce restaurant & ça ne sera certainement pas la dernière. L'ambiance est très agréable, la nourriture excellente, le pris raisonnable & le service courtois & attentionné, quoique parfois un peu lent. C'est véritablement une belle découverte que je recommande fortement.

C'étais magnifique, ma famille m'accompagnais & ils ont tous adorer, la nourriture excellente, service impeccable, souriant.

Excellent service, nous avons eu Simon comme serveur & ensuite nous avons terminé avec Joëlle ! Tous deux supers sympathiques & super bel ambiance. Nourriture très bon aussi! Je recommande :)

Quelle magnifique expérience !!!

Nous sommes arrivés en retard sur notre réservation & ont nous a accueilli quand même.

Nous avions l'impression d'être invité chez des amis.

Je recommanderai ce restaurant à tout le monde que je connais.

Merci encore à notre serveuse de m'avoir amené mon dessert en 1er pour traiter mon hypoglycémie 🤦‍♂️😂

Absolutely best dining experience we had in Quebec City! Fast & friendly service paired with high quality food. We had paella, seafood chowder (they are rated best in town for a reason- a must order if you like seafood), cheese & meat platter, deer medallion & duck poutine (excellent!). My son said he will have to go back & bring his friends for the poutine. Can highly recommend - you will not be disappointed.

Nous avons adoré notre repas au Pub d'Orsay. La bouffe est superbe & le personnel très accueillant. On vous le recommande sans hésiter! On va sûrement y retourner lors d'un prochain séjour à Québec.
