Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

Beautiful place with a charming atmosphere. The meal was delicious, & we were served by Nancy - an excellent & very friendly waitress. Highly recommended!

We would come back to Quebec just to eat at his restaurant! My children & I stopped by for'fancy drinks' before a dinner reservation downtown. We so loved the menu that we immediately made a reservation to return & we were not disappointed. The calamari was very tender, & the escargot was presented in a unique way. The muscles were the freshest I've ever had including in New England or France. Perhaps my favorite bite of the evening was my daughter's burger, I had to have a taste when I saw how delicious it looked. I will get that next time! Our waiters both nights were great & friendly despite how busy it was. Keven was our waiter the second night & was notable & worth praise. Thank you, Dorsay for a memorable last night in town.

Obligé de mettre un avis car j'ai été très surpris par l'hospitalité & la sympathie du personnel, en particulier un serveur. nous n'y avons pas mangé juste un arrêt boisson durant une journée étouffante du mois de juillet.

Pedí una súper hamburguesa con cebollas acaramelizadas con una cerveza Guinness bien fría, mientras sonaba un playlist de rock en inglés y en la pantalla, un concierto de The Cure. Excelente combinación. Muchas gracias

Our bartender was Rumyana she did a great job. Was extremely attentive & polite despite she was handling all drink orders for the restaurant. She was very pleasant & engaging. Outstanding service.

Service? Okay. Food? Amazing!

My partner & I ordered one app & one main as I can't eat a lot & we don't want to waste food. Also waters because it's hot & we're not really drinkers. The server didn't seem pleased by this & never came to check on us. The place wasnt busy so our table would've been empty otherwise.

Great food, great service! Thanks for allowing us to sit in the patio with two dogs today. The servers were very attentive & friendly. We enjoyed everything we ordered including poutine, calamari, & blue cheese mussels. Cold draft beer was a lifesaver on a hot summer day.
