Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

Although it was incredibly hot & humid outside, the food, service & ambience made it such a pleasure to dine there. Cannot express how helpful & friendly the service was. & the mussels & hamburger were perfect.

Sehr gutes Essen, sehr gute Whiskys, sehr guter Service. :) Einige vegetarische (Ricottaraviloi mit roasted Pecannüssen) und vegane Optionen (Dessert) vorhanden. Schmackhaft! Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend u herzliche Grüße an die Küche ♡♡♡

....Waren heute das zweite Mal da. Apetizer ausprobiert: Broccoli mit Minzjoghurt, Sauerteigbrot mit Salzbutter und fried Calamaris. Köstlich, again. Danke :) ♡♡♡

On s'est arrêté ici pour manger diner pendant qu'on marchait dans le vieux-Québec. Le service a été impeccable de la part des serveurs! Mon conjoint a renversé son cocktail par mégarde & il a reçu un autre verre gratuitement sans même qu'il le demande! La poutine Sunday roast est vraiment bonne! Malheureusement, je peux seulement donner 3 étoiles parce que mon conjoint a eu un problème avec la bavette de boeuf AAA. Il l'a demandé medium saignant & c'est revenu à point. Il lui ont fait une autre assiette & c'était encore la même chose! On a fini par laisser faire.
