Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

Location is great. Food is just okay. The lobster roll is so disappointing, not recommended. If main lobster roll is 10, here is 4. Seafood linguine tastes good, but not amazing. I couldn't even find a piece of lobster in the sauce. With the price, I definitely expect more.

Hadde & lett maltid her i det supre vaeret - sa det matte inntas utendors. Stedet var fullt, men jeg fikk raskt tildelt bord. Servicen var ogsa rask - og kelnerne var blide og serviceinnstilte. Jeg hadde bare hovedrett; en stor porsjon Cesar Salat inkl grillet kylling + & glass rodvin. Presentasjonen var uvanlig (se bilde) og den grillede kyllingen var kald, men ALT smakte meget godt 😋 😋 😋

A friend invited me there & introduced me to his favourite soup, seafood chowder. I tried it too & loved it very much. It's delicious, not as salty as very often soups in other restaurants, perfect quantity, reasonable price. I enjoyed a lot this restaurant & definitely will go back!

Le Dorsay est un de mes restos préfères. Quelle belle surprise hier avec le nouveau menu plus élaboré. J'ai commandé le poulet indien une merveille meilleur que plusieurs restos indiens de Montréal & Québec & même Toronto. Service par Karen d'un professionnalisme & d'une fentillesse exceptionnelle. J'ai référé ce resto à plusieurs personnes & je n'ai jamais eu un mauvais commentaire que du positif. Ah oui mon amie a commandé le fetuccini aux fruits de mer un délice alors je vais continuer d'y aller & de me régaler. Com

This was a great place to eat & drink. Enjoyed sitting outside & watching the world pass by. Fabulously looked after by Nancy. Great cocktails & wines. Tell Nancy the QR review did not work.

Our server Nancy was great , even though the time we were there was so busy she was still very attentive not only to us but everyone . she has a great personality & all of them were accommodating. Food was good ♥️
