Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

D'orsay is located in the old city section of Quebec City. It is very near to Notre Dame Quebec. In any case, they have great cocktails & an extensive food menu. We had both theussels & the paella. The white wine mussels were very good, the paella was somewhat dry & undercooked. They were very busy in their defense. The Caesar salad was very good as well. I would recommend giving this place a try, even if for nothing more than drinks. Follow for more...

Chaleureux, j'adore la décoration du mur bibliothèque. Service rapide & ponctuel sans interventions inutiles. Portion de moules généreuse, bon ratio moules/frites.

Great service from Nancy our waitress. The onion soup was delicious as was the Caesar salad. We did have the misfortune of sitting next to a very rude woman who lied about asking for a doggy bag. She never did but the staff did make her one that she claimed was a much smaller portion. She then proceeded to tell off the staff & left in a huff. How people who work in the hospitality business deal with these types of customers is beyond me. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Can't say the same for that rude client.

JE RECOMMANDE !!!Super endroit tant pour un moment familiale avec petits... & aussi avec plus grand style pub! La nourriture est très bonne, un excellent rapport qualité prix parfait! Ne perdez pas votre temps à aller dans des chaînes connues à multiples succursales avec des repas ben moyens & des ingrédients de basse qualité qui vous font payer des prix dis " raisonnables " ce qui n'est pas le cas si c'est en rien un minimum de qualité ! VENEZ AU PUB D'ORSAY ! Vous ne serez pas déçu & passerez un bon moment avec un service très chaleureux.
