Dorsay British Pub – A door to history

Since 1987, Dorsay, like Le Gaulois since 1987, has been part of the landscape of Old Quebec. Founded by Marcel Veilleux and taken over in 2024 by his son Christian Veilleux, along with Lyne Blackburn and Marc-Olivier Germain, Dorsay continues the tradition of true British pubs: warmth, camaraderie, cold pints, and tasty dishes.

In the heart of Old Quebec, a stone's throw from the Château Frontenac, our gastro pub cuisine, created by chef Benoit Poliquin, celebrates local products: seafood chowder, bangers and mash, fish and chips, homemade blood sausage, London BBQ wings, and much more.

Nous avons soupé au premier étage de votre établissement mais il faisait extrêmement froid....donc pas envie d'y rester plus longtemps.donc nous reviendrons dans votre etablissement pour manger en bas mais non de haut ...Si pas possible, on n'y reviendra pas...

Notre amie a trouvé ses pâtes trois salées, elle a avisé la serveuse qui nous a donné l'information qu'elle fera en sorte d'informer la cuisine afin de corriger cette situation. En guise de compensation on a offert à notre amie un dessert gratuit.
Nous l'avons trouvé très professionnelle en plus de bon service que nous avons eu.

Très bon service de notre serveur. Je trouve qu'à l'étage il manque d'ambiance & que ça fait plus cafétéria. J'aurais préféré manger au rez-de-chaussée pour l'ambiance.

We had reservations & were treated very rudely by the hostess when we excused ourselves past others without reservations. The place was only half full but we were made to wait 20 minutes after seated before the waiter spoke to us & took the drink order. 20 minutes later, no drinks so we left. I rated the food a 3 to be fair as there was no "not applicable" option.
