We had an excellent experience dining at Grillades Pico Loco - Rôtisserie Portuguese in Quebec City, a restaurant specializing in traditional Portuguese cuisine & fire-grilled meats. We ordered the Grilled Discovery Platter (a selection of grilled meats: homemade sausage, picanha, chicken & pork chop, served with two side dishes of our choice), perfect for two people. The food tasted delicious & the table-side flambé service by Stojan was amazing (using fire for dramatic effect & flavour enhancement)! The meats were smoky charred & savoury with a deep umami flavour. They were generous with the portions & the meal was so appetizing. Delicious food, amazing 10/10 service & nice ambiance made it a memorable experience for us!

Great place to eat. Stopped by here to eat with a family. Stojan was a great host. Chicken for the kids was fabulous. Well prepared a d super tasty. I encourage getting the dinner plate for 2. Great variety of meat. Steak. Well done. Home made sausages 👏. Will definitely return next time in Quebec City. Also very reasonably priced.

Casual, laid-back atmosphere. While the service was a bit slow, it was understandable as there was only one waiter for the entire place when we visited. Despite that, the flavor was amazing. I absolutely loved the polenta, & the chicken was delicious. I would definitely recommend.

J'ai adoré, très délicieux poulet, la sauce piquante est bonne à s'en lâcher les doigts. La paella était bonne & bien garnie. Il y a un plat d'origine bulgare appelé kufte qui ajoute un côté européen de l'est, très bon aussi.
Le service est accueillant, vous pouvez être servi à plusieurs langues, incluant espagnol, portugais & bulgare.
Le restaurant est spacieux & très propre.
Je recommande fortement.

I love it, the chicken it's delicious, the spicy sauce it's great. La paella plate was well furnished & with good taste. There's a bulgarian plate called Kufte that add an east european taste to the menu very good too.
The service is friendly, you can be served in different languages including spanish, Portuguese & bulgarian.
The restaurant is well clean & spacious.
I highly recommend it.

Very tasty food & a great experience overall. We ordered the chicken thigh & breast, as well as the Pico Loco salad with shrimp, & everything was fresh, flavorful, & nicely prepared. The portions were satisfying & the ingredients tasted high quality.

The staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, & helpful, which made the experience even better. It's refreshing to see a place run by young people who are clearly motivated & passionate about their work. Supporting local businesses like this really matters, & Pico Loco definitely deserves it.

If you're walking on Saint-Jean Street & looking for a casual spot with good food & a positive vibe, this is a great choice. We enjoyed our meal & would absolutely come back.

If you visit Quebec you have to try the Portuguese Chicken - this is as good as anywhere to give it a try!

This roast chicken restaurant was already on this street when I first came to Quebec City, about a decade or so ago. Now it's moved closer to the Old Town. Today is my first time back in Quebec City in six years, & I've come back to this restaurant again. The roast chicken is as delicious as ever-incredibly fresh, crispy skin, slightly savory, accompanied with juicy & tender meat. The sausages are handmade by the owner, completely different from the industrial taste of chain restaurants; the saltiness is just right, & they're very tasty. The roast pork chops & shrimp are also roasted to perfection. The fried potatoes are made with a unique sweetness thanks to the owner's locally sourced potatoes from Orléans. Making them himself is a significant improvement over frozen potatoes, as well. This meal reminds me of my time in Quebec City; it tastes like home.

We had a great time at Pico Loco. The food was delicious (we had the chilli con carne & chicken soup apps & chicken breast dinner) fast & friendly service, & a warm atmosphere. The price was very reasonable too.

The piri piri sauce is amazing!

Absolutely the best chicken I have ever tasted with the most delicious sauce made from scratch! I've traveled all over the world & was so happy to stumble upon this place! Great food & service! Cannot recommend enough :)
