Excellent in every way. My kids eat gluten free & were thrilled. GF churros are amazing. It's a bit out of the way but well worth the drive. Very highly recommend.
Une expérience culinaire sans gluten délicieuse & sécuritaire pour les gens qui comme moi souffrent de la maladie coeliaque, c'est rassurant ! Cependant lorsque j'ai réservé en ligne il y a près d'un mois, j'ai automatiquement été placé au bar. Je ne connaissais pas du tout le resto, nous ne sommes pas de Québec & nous nous sommes retrouvé dans un petit coin à manger près du lavabo ou on lave la vaisselle. J'ai demandé à changer de place, on m'a indiqué que ce n'était pas possible que tout était réservé & que c'est moi qui avait fait ce choix. J'ai donc dû accepter ce qui m'était proposé. Plus tard, la serveuse qui nous a accueilli nous a proposé une table basse qui s'est libérée, mais nous venions de recevoir notre repas, nous avons fait le choix de le terminer au bar. Il faisait très chaud, pas d'air climatisé, pas de ventilateur près de nous. Après le repas, mon conjoint demande un café & on se fait dire qu'il n'y en a pas. Très décevant pour un resto très bon mais à ce prix & avec cette ambiance ordinaire je ne suis pas certaine d'y retourner. Je m'attendais à beaucoup mieux. Les photos ne sont pas du tout représentative de la place simpliste. Déçus ! Notre serveuse a été gentille, nous a très bien expliqué le principe du menu, tout était clair & la nourriture délicieuse.
Meilleur restaurant d'inspiration mexicaine. Je ne trouve pas pertinent d'ajouter que c'est sans gluten car intolérant ou non, c'est les meilleurs tacos. La chose que je reproche, c'est que lors de mon prochain voyage au Mexique je risque d'être déçu, hihihi. Nous nous sommes faites conseiller la brochette de coeur de veau, qui n'aurait pas été notre premier choix mais que nous reprendrons assurément. La queso fonduda ainsi que les crevettes nordiques sont une nécessité. En cocktail, je vous conseille la margaritas Julio. Service agréable, les gens sont de bons conseils. Le tout sans pression.

Love the service & the food. Very delicious tacos & quesadillas & they are all decently priced. Very colourful ambient, pretty good vibe. Did feel a little cramped & it gets quite loud with the low ceiling. Accommodate gluten free really well. Service is Bilingual which is important for us tourists.... Definitely recommend.
Delicious Mexican food & totally gluten free!Service was friendly & attentive, albeit slow as the place was packed when we visited. At times the noise & heat of the patrons did make the restaurant feel overwhelming. There is seating outside though for those that prefer it a little less packed. The decor was unique & I enjoyed the bright colour. Staff were very accommodating for the seniors in our group that prefer a seat with a chair back over the bench. They promptly swapped out seating to accommodate us.

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. We had the jalapeno poppers, which were gluten free & amazing; the crudo, which was delicate & wonderfully flavored; & the carnitas tacos, some of the tastiest I've had. If we had had more time in Quebec, I would've gone back a second time. The restaurant is small & modern, not a typical Mexican style decor. The service was also wonderful!
C'est toujours tellement bon & c'est tellement un soulagement de manger sans gluten sans me préoccuper de la contamination. C'est notre endroit à mon amie & moi pour notre rencontre annuelle &, non, on ne partage pas les churros. Chacune son bol!
Amazing gluten free experience though you wouldn't even know it. Most Mexican food is GF anyway but Julio Taqueria is just GF, good food. My wife got the lunch special which included a taco dish (3 tacos), a side of guac with some chips & a fresca drink. She got carnitas tacos which were just right but the sauces are game changers. That orange habanero is just insanely delicious & hot 🔥! I got the Al pastor which were also really good - the pineapple balanced the heat beautifully. The chips were thick & crisp & the guac was perfect. She got the Jamaica drink though we're not sure what it was exactly, it tasted kind of cherry & was really tasty. So my wife has been GF for about 19 years now but she wasn't super adventurous before so she'd never had a churro. We ordered the churros. We loved the churros. There's a decent number of them in the bowl for $8 & they definitely need the dulce de leche to cut the greasiness. Total with tax & tip was just over $50 which, let's face it, isn't bad for 2024. Especially when you're basically guaranteed a safe GF meal. Highly recommend this place! Oh, btw, we parked on the street nearby in the 1h free parking spot & were out before the time was up. See you on the road!
