Julio is your vibrant neighborhood restaurant-bar offering *gluten-free* Mexican-inspired cuisine and meticulously crafted cocktails.

Our philosophy - a meal is meant to be shared with those we cherish. We welcome you continuously from 11:30 AM to 11:00 PM, with or without a reservation because we also adore spontaneous moments.

The kitchen specializes in tacos and quesadillas, and our tortillas are freshly made in-house every day. We also offer an array of shareable small plates. You'll find options to please all dietary preferences - carnivores and vegans alike - and entirely gluten-free. Everything is homemade, and you can taste it - queso fresco, salsa, tortillas, spicy sauces.

The bar presents you with a selection of cutting-edge cocktails, both with and without alcohol, in a minimalist style. Come take a seat at the bar to savor our tequila and mezcal choices or request a custom creation.

I came for the gluten free churros which were beyond sublime! I ended up thoroughly enjoying my main course along with two incredibly tasty house margaritas. My family all enjoyed their meals. I wish so badly that someone in my area of Canada could make those churros!!

*ALL GLUTEN FREE TAQUERIA* Really great tacos & appetizers. Excellent Margaritas & other interesting cocktails *& MOCKTAILS*. Great vibe in a lesser known neighborhood of Quebec City that is super charming & pleasant with other cool cafés & bars nearby.

Visiting from Ottawa. We went because our daughter is celiac. The hostess said it's a totally gluten free establishment. We are happy to support that, there are so few places that cater to %100 gluten free. Even the churros are of their own gluten free recipe, they are amazing! The staff & service were excellent & they were busy. I recommend making reservations. The food is authentic, expect a flavorful dish many with bright citrus highlights. They had 3 of their own hot sauces that were incredible. If the menu items says it's spicy, it will be! The servings were a little on the smaller size but having an appetizer, main, & dessert wasn't overfilling. When we come back we will absolutely return. 10/10

All the plates were delicious with balanced flavours. Very easy if you have gluten intolerance or are coeliac as everything on the menu is gluten free. The service was excellent. We could not fault it. Thank you.

Absolutely the best Mexican food I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying -Exciting blends of flavours, nothing over-powering, nothing muddied. The place is 100% gluten-free! I had churros for the first time in my life since churros are never gluten-free. So glad they were Julio Taqueria's, as I'm confident they're the best. Speaking of best - best guacamole! &, again, the perfect blend of flavours.

I walked an hour to get there - up one side of the mountain & down the other & felt quite out of my element with my limited french & being far from the usual tourist path. But, I instantly felt safe & well cared for, the moment I walked in the door. Two charming servers warmly greeted me & ensured my visit was delightful & memorable.

Well worth climbing up & down the steep mountain that is Quebec City. Although, I did take a taxi back. :-)

Great little gluten free Mexican restaurant in the city. The portions are small but perfect for one or sharing if you order a few. The churros were the best at the end. The service was also outstanding.

A little off'the beaten track' for us tourists, but needing gluten free food, we went in search. It did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious!! Churros....yummmm
