First time in Quebec City. Had just got in from Montreal. We were late & not many restaurants open. I was very happy to find this one open. We had dinner there on 27 th May 2024. we were greeted in a very friendly way. We had cauliflower bites, tofu poke bowl, a bowl with chicken , carrot cake & some drinks. Not many vegetarian options but our server was amazing. She tried to accommodate me & ensure I got substitutes. The kitchen did forget to add my sauce in the bowl, & I had to ask for it. Our server , Melanie, checked on us several times, always friendly, asked if we wanted a refill of popcorn & drinks. Her friendly nature & willingness to help us make the right choices really stood out. Also a big plus that she spoke English. She is a keeper , & if I was her supervisor, I would promote her. She is a true asset for the business. Thank you La Cage, I will be back .

On a pris un poke bol au thon. C' est un bon plat. Je donnerais un 7.8/10. & on a pris un nachos classique. La c' est n'importe quoi. Presque rien dessus. Un peu de fromage. Un peu de sauce. Piment fort. Quelques olives noires. C' est rire du monde . Un 3/10 & je suis généreux. Insultant.
