Superbe moment dans un restaurant très joliment décoré. Renaud & son équipe vous accueille avec le sourire ! Incroyable carte des vins, belle ardoise du jour, belle carte très complète. Plats délicieux, rien à dire ! Bravo ! LA CUISINE est pour moi le meilleur restaurant de Saguenay.

Lors de mon voyage à Saguenay, je suis tombé par hasard sur ce restaurant, & quelle belle surprise ! J'ai dégusté le burger maison préparé avec des produits locaux, & c'était une vraie claque ! Pourtant, c'est un plat que je mange souvent en France, mais ici, c'était une toute autre expérience. Tellement conquis que j'ai décidé d'y retourner.

Nous avons eu la chance de souper à La Cuisine vendredi dernier, & quelle merveilleuse expérience - nous sommes conquis ! David Janelle est un chef talentueux & passionné, & cela se reflète dans chacun des plats qu'il prépare. Chaque assiette nous faisait découvrir de nouveaux produits (pour la plupart locaux en plus), ainsi que des saveurs originales & raffinées.

Les vins étaient délicieux, le service impeccable. Un véritable coup de coeur, & nous avons déjà hâte d'y retourner. Nous avons beaucoup de chance d'avoir une cuisine de ce calibre ici, au Saguenay !

Wanted to try a fancier restaurant in Saguenay. Service- My friend & I waited 45 minutes for our main dishes after our appetizers.. NOT ok. I was extremely disappointed with that. Our waitress was professional, nice. Food- I got the "Fondue aux Fromages" as an appetizer. Not what I expected & all, I don't like their take on fondue. & it was very mid. Definitely overpriced. I got the "Contre-Filet de boeuf highland" for my main dish. It was pretty good! Cooked to the temperature I ordered. The sauce on the plate went well with everything else. Parsnip purée was good, however, it was cold rather than room temperature/warm. Carrot was cooked well, it wasn't hard to cut. I didn't care for the other vegetables personally. Cocktail- I forget what the full name was but "D'avril" is in the name. The cocktail was well made, strong, good & easy to drink! Dessert- classic crème brûlée. Yummy. Due to the wait for my meal alone, I wouldn't return here. I also think they are a bit overpriced.

If there is more than 5 stars I would give it more than 5 stars. Nice warm contemporary ambience. Super friendly helpful polite staff & servers. The food is cooked perfectly. Fois gras is so delish. Duck is very tasty with a mixed of sophisticated tastes. Renaud did an amazing job taking care of all the customers! This will always be my dinner stop in Saguenay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
