I visited this vegan restaurant for dinner & brunch - food is absolutely amazing!
For dinner, I tried their risotto which was delicious! Service was on point, there was a bit of a wait for the tables but again it's in a tourist area so kinda expected. Also, it can be a bit pricey but the food is totally worth it!
The next day, I ordered their breakfast burrito for takeout - ngl but best breakfast burrito Ive had in a long time & even the side was pretty good! Wait time wasnt too bad this time. Staff very friendly & nice.
Would definitely recommend checking out this place during your visit to Old Quebec City!!!
Un brunch végétalien qui vaut le détour! Je ne suis ni végétarienne ni végane, mais ce restaurant m'a complètement conquise. En tant que personne allergique aux produits laitiers & au gluten, je suis souvent limitée dans mes choix - ici, c'est tout le contraire. Le menu est créatif, savoureux & sécuritaire, & le brunch est tout simplement fantastique. J'y suis allée plusieurs fois & je n'ai jamais eu de mauvaise expérience. Le personnel est attentionné, l'ambiance chaleureuse, & on sent que chaque plat est préparé avec soin. Une adresse fiable & délicieuse, que je recommande les yeux fermés!
We loved every minute & taste of our Brunch & so we came back for dinner. & again, loved every minute of that as well. Our dinner was also served by the chef, who was gracious & personable.
We cannot wait to go back but with better French pronunciation next time :).

I left my group for the day & decided to do my own dine & drink for brunch. This place was not part of the plan but I was absolutely delighted that I found it & they had room for me. It's also difficult to find places that are open between brunch/breakfast & dinner & this place was ready for us! The service was friendly & personable. The food was incredible. The cocktails were well balanced. Overall it had a fun vibe & I am thrilled to have had the experience!
This is an all-vegan restaurant, & we were excited to visit on the weekend to try a variety of dishes from their interesting menu. Unfortunately, we were limited to the brunch menu & just a few selections from the lunch menu, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the food we did try was excellent. I had the mushroom risotto, which was absolutely incredible. My friends ordered the Le Don & enjoyed it, but we all agreed the risotto was the standout. Looking forward to coming back to try more of the full menu!
Je ne suis pas végane, mais J'ADORE aller manger au Don. Tous les plats du soir sont délicieux, mais mention spéciale aux agnolottis. L'ambiance à l'intérieur est super, & la terrasse est magnifique avec la fontaine & le beau temps. Bruncher au Don est un réel bonheur, avec le mimosa. Je le recommande à tout le monde !
My Mum & I were visiting QC & we were super excited to have a Vegan restaurant just across our hotel. We visited 5/16/2025 & was welcome by Marc-Antoine. He informed us about the lunch special for $15 which was difficult to select since they all sounded amazing. (I didn't take a photo of the menu but hoping I remember the names) Both Mum & I started with the broccoli cauliflower soup & wow! LOVED IT! Mum had the curry rice with kofta & I opted for the risotto with roasted bell peppers & sausage. Dessert was a chocolate brownie cake. Everything was just amazing!! We wanted to order those same meals to take with us back to our hotel but it wasn't on their regular menu. We opted for a few items from the menu: roasted vegetable salad, Coconut Thai soup, burrito bowl, & impossible burger with Caesar salad (this was our meal for Sabbath but had some left over for Sunday too.) We made reservations for brunch on 5/18/2025; Mum had the morning burrito while I had the DONe Anma. Everything was so tasty! We went back again today (can you tell we love the food?) & was happy to be greeted by Marc-Antoine! Mum & I both had the almond & cranberry salad & the Mac & cheese. It was good. We plan on returning again until our last day in QC but it wasn't just the food that set the bar but the customer service we received upon our first visit by Marc-Antoine. We didn't speak the language but felt welcomed by his kindness, professionalism, & exceptional customer service. He was simply awesome! & the chef or chefs that prepared our incredible meals as well! The highlight for me is definitely visiting Don Vegan. Thank you for making our trip to QC enjoyable!
Probably one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. We had four meals here during our vacation in Quebec, including a brunch, lunch, & two dinners. The standout meals were the gnocchi with cashew sauce - so good, especially with the caramelized onions - & the eggs Benedict, which also had the onions along with'chicken shiitake'
We will definitely come back when we visit Quebec again. Thank you!
Each time iam in Quebec City I visit this restaurant. I went for Sunday brunch & the server was also the maître D & the bus boy. She was pleasant friendly & efficient. Food was excellent as always. I highly recommend this restaurant even if you are not vegetarian.i have brought my carnevoir friends who have come back.
