We ordered the artichoke dip entree, the waiters forgot if we had received our starter & had to ask us. When it finally arrived, the plate was presented beautifully but wasn't seasoned well. Not a good start. For the mains, the tacos were delicious & the fettuccini mushroom was mouthwatering. The salad was dressed well, helping cut through the heaviness of the pasta. The main star was the dessert: poor man's pudding, a sweet & syrupy sponge with fresh berries & the raspberry cheesecake. We tried their bloody Caesar cocktail which comes with olives- they still have their stones unlike the olives in the artichoke dip so be wary
This food was incredible. We had planned to go in person, but we had young kids in our group & it was cold & they were tired, so we went back to our b&b. It was our daughter's birthday though, & she really wanted this food, so we ubered the pasta & cesar salad with the Don cake. I mentioned that it was her birthday & they sent the chocolate cake, too, & a sparkler. The food was phenomenal. Next time we visit Quebec City, we will be bringing a group & definitely hit up this restaurant in person. Thank you!
Une belle découverte, un vrai coup de coeur!! Très belle accueil, explication du menu détaillé par la serveuse. Le menu est excellent & plusieurs variétés : entrées, salade, fettucini aux champignons, burger, dessert. Plat à partager!!
This plant-based restaurant is fabulous, & even carnivores will love it. We found all of the items we ordered to be very nicely prepared, tasty, & healthful. We had gnocchi, two-squash risotto, dumplings, meatballs with sunflower paste. Service from Jade was exceptional, & she was very kind & helpful in answering all of our questions about Quebecois culture & language. We went back a couple of days later for their lunch special, where you get a choice of 1) soup or salad, 2) a burger/risotto/pasta/stir-fry, & 3) coffee. It was excellent. Another server we had (Clarisse, on the receipt) was super friendly & talked to us for a while. Several servers were covering all the tables as a team, & they were all great. We will probably go back a third time for their brunch the day we depart. Cannot wait to return!
Amazing food. Good sized portions for the price. Amazing pasta dishes. The fettuccine & the agnolotti were memorable. Flavourful, sauce was just the right amount & consistency. Love they give a salad with it & you can order small portions which are still a good amount of food. The gnocchi was chewy & cooked perfectly. Will be visiting this every time I visit Quebec city. For vegans/plant based, it is a must visit.
As a vegan I want to support vegan restaurants everywhere I go. I ate inside, the atmosphere was great. The food was delicious, I ordered the creamy gnocchi. It tasted amazing. But my issue is the portion size. It was only half a plate, & the "tofu bacon" was just a dozen of tiniest tofu cubes. I thought they were going to be usual tofu cubed size, I was counting on getting some actual protein with the meal. Guess not. My friends who ordered the pad thai had an excessive amount of the meal overflowing their plate. & the prices were nearly identical (26$ pad thai vs 25$ gnocchi). It did come with a salad (which was not advertised on the menu - still tasted great) but salads are not exactly filling. Another friend who ordered the agnolittis also did not get a full plate comparable to the pad thai, & that cost 30$. If you're looking to fill your belly, do not order those dishes. Never a good sign when a meal ends & you're just as hungry as when it began.
A purely vegan spot in an amazing location. It has a cool, low key vibe with lots of selections. I had the spaghetti bolognese & Caesar salad & it was delicious. The service was very slow, even though there were very few people there.
Déliciiiiiieux restaurant 💫👌💛 J'ai adoré le Tartare Faux-mon en entrée + la salade césar !!! Ainsi que TOUS les plats offerts. Serveurs sympathiques :-) Ambiance joyeuse. Un délice à tous les niveaux ! Recommandé. nb : photo de mon dessert.
Came here on a beautiful weekend evening, & luckily the outdoor seating wasn't terribly crowded. The Tantanmen was warm, made fresh & very delicious! The jackfruit tostada comes with a small side salad with a vinaigrette dressing. Lots of beverage choices, with quite a few non alcoholic options. I had the pina, a pineapple-ginger drink. The server was very friendly & spoke English as well. Service was a little slow but I would still recommend.
