For more than 40 years, Le Petit Château restaurant has offered a wide variety of crepes and fondues as well as a bistro menu in Old Quebec.

Opened by a great lover of Quebec City in the former Théâtre de L'Estoc, the owner has always wanted to offer a place where everyone feels welcome.

Whether as a couple, with friends, with family or with a group, everyone can be assured of being welcomed and served with a smile and courtesy. Even canine friends can come on the terrace during the summer!

The staff is also very sensitive to the reality of people suffering from food allergies and intolerances and will pay serious attention to all your dietary restrictions.

The person responsible for our table was the only positive thing about our experience. The the trio couple's Fondue was reduced by half. The cheese fondue was the most disappointing of all, as they reduced it to a point where it wasn't even enough for 1 person, the cheese ran out before we ate half the portion of bread to eat with it. My husband & I have been going to this restaurant since 2019, but the experience disappointed us to the point that we will no longer return to this establishment.

Although the main dining room (with a nice ambience) was empty when we arrived, we were shunted into a side addition with ambience at all. By the time we left there still were empty tables in the main dining room. Noticeably, the side room seemed to be for the Americans.
The beef for the fondue was thin sliced more like deli meat & not chunks of good beef.
We will not be returning.

Nous avons eu un très bon service de la part de Laurie. La fondue au fromage était excellente, mais la portion était quelque peu timide tout comme les portions pour la fondue de boeuf. Il manquait un peu de choix de salade & autres accompagnements. Le prix était raisonnable. Il manquait un foyer ou ambiance feutrée pour compléter cette merveilleuse soirée dans le vieux Québec. Nous reviendrons. Merci!

Très bon service, vraiment un prix élevé pour la qualité. Ambiance chaleureuse. La fondue à 80 pièces pour 3 est accompagné juste de pain ... très sec & pas très bon. Le reste en en sus.

Un peu déçue de notre 2e visite (différente de la 1). La qualité nourriture assez moyenne, un extra de légumes (quelques champignons, 3 tranches piments & des carottes .... en fondue) avec beaucoup de cornichons, olives & oignons marinés pour moi c'est inacceptable. Si vous n'avez pas de choux-fleurs ou brocolis, .... user d'ingéniosité en remplaçant piments, oignons, zuccini etc.... Mais de grâce des légumes pas des marinades. La réponse du manque de nourriture n'est pas justifiée, $$$. En conclusion nous étions 8 (dont 2 enfants) & c'était assez ordinaire comme 2e visite...... & il not aura pas de 3e!

Blue Eye Reviewer here! All I wanted was Cheese fondue & this place delivered! Staff is welcoming & helpful choosing how much cheese you can eat!! Don't shy away from the wild game as well! Great place to have a traditional fondue while in Quebec city! Cheers
