For more than 40 years, Le Petit Château restaurant has offered a wide variety of crepes and fondues as well as a bistro menu in Old Quebec.

Opened by a great lover of Quebec City in the former Théâtre de L'Estoc, the owner has always wanted to offer a place where everyone feels welcome.

Whether as a couple, with friends, with family or with a group, everyone can be assured of being welcomed and served with a smile and courtesy. Even canine friends can come on the terrace during the summer!

The staff is also very sensitive to the reality of people suffering from food allergies and intolerances and will pay serious attention to all your dietary restrictions.

Food was average & service was a little slow. We had the trio fondue & the burner was not working properly & it took so long for the beef to be done. The waiter had to take it to the kitchen to warm the broth & brought it back to our table. Service overall was less than average.

DO NOT get the cheese fondue. It was SO SALTY we didn't finish it. I told the waitress & nothing done to rectify other than they had a new cook. Should have looked at previous review. The cheese was not that good for Quebec. I love my cheeses 🧀! Avoid & order something else or go somewhere else. Beautiful setting. Employees looked overworked.

Went for fondue, which was very good but....the pot it came in was old rusty & the enamel coating was wearing off. For being right next to the Frontenac you would think they would have a higher standard of quality. Fondue is only served inside...all the service attention goes to those outside. There was only enough bread for half the fondue & it took the waiter a long time to check on us to get more bread. We wouldn't go back.

Une expérience à oublier. Nous avions repérer ce restaurant afin de déguster une fondue de bison. Nous avons été expressément demander dans l'après-midi, ce que la personne à confirmer. Rendu le soir même, il n'en avait pas & n'en servait plus depuis un mois. Mauvaise communication sans doute, mais il était encore écrit qu'il en servait partout sur la devanture. Dommage.

Décevant pour le trio de fondue. Pain brun avec la fondue au fromage. Très peu de sauce avec la fondue chinoise. Pas d'ambiance du tout & dispendieux pour si peu.

It was something we wanted to try. My biggest issue is the way the fondue is worded in the menu. "For 1 people" or "for 2 people". It caused us to order way to much & spend wayyyy too much money. We got 2 trios for 5 people. Way too much. This place is just way too expensive for what you get. Unfortunately we would not recommend. But our server was top notch. I believe his name is Rafael. I also recommend hand sanitizer if your gonna try this place. The skewers come out on the raw meat. You have to touch them to cook the meat so cross contamination is a real fear.
