Le Petit Dep is a charming & welcoming place to stop for a great coffee experience in Old Quebec. The atmosphere is cozy, modern, & inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax, enjoy a drink, & take a break while exploring this beautiful historic area.
We had the iced mocha, iced latte, & iced Americano, & all three drinks were excellent. The iced mocha was rich, creamy, & delicious, with a perfect balance of coffee & chocolate flavors. The iced latte was smooth & refreshing, while the iced Americano was a great choice for those who enjoy a stronger coffee taste.
The quality of the drinks was impressive, & everything was prepared with care. The staff were friendly, welcoming, & provided great service, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Le Petit Dep has a wonderful atmosphere that combines the charm of a local café with high-quality coffee. It is a great place to enjoy a relaxing moment, whether you are starting your day, taking a break, or simply looking for a delicious coffee while visiting Old Quebec.
Thank you to the team for the excellent service & amazing drinks. We truly enjoyed our visit & would happily come back again. Highly recommended for coffee lovers!
We stopped by to cool down during the heatwave & the barista was super kind. I had a cafe limo which I looooove. I didn't try any espresso based drinks.
I stopped by this café for a coffee & a refreshing drink, already expecting a lot & still ended up being genuinely impressed.
The atmosphere is warm & inviting, with a charming feel that makes it easy to settle in, even if you only planned to stay for a quick drink. What really stood out, though, was the coffee. My cappuccino was absolutely excellent, easily one of the best I've had in quite some time. The espresso had great depth & balance, & the soft drink was just what I needed.
The staff were also extremely friendly & welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. You can tell there's real care behind what they do.
I loved the coffee so much that I ended up leaving with a bag of beans to take home, which probably says everything. Definitely worth a stop, especially if you appreciate genuinely great coffee.
Really cool stop, well stylized & fun! Drinks were a bit weak & not sweet- we also got iced I think their hot beverages would be better. Also not much seating, better for a grab & go
Actually, it was a hilarious experience.
I'd been arguing with my friends all morning, by that point, we were all cranky, hungry, & exhausted. This was the first café we came across, so we decided to stop & wake up the'beast.'
The aesthetic was undeniably gorgeous & colorful. We waited in line for about 40 minutes, which felt reasonable since everyone else was waiting too. Now for the juicy part: right in front of us was a lady taking customers' orders. God bless her - she spent 15 minutes counting the till & coins, carefully sorting & writing everything down in her notes. I was honestly surprised. My friends were going a little nuts & asked if she was doing it on purpose. I knew she wasn't. She just looked completely drained, but I understood where my friends were coming from. The lady explained she had been working since 9 a.m. with no break.
Eventually, we gave up. None of us ended up getting a drink or treat. Such a shame, because we were the first runners 🏃?♀? in line after waiting for 40 minutes. So, unfortunately, I can't give you an opinion on the food or drinks.
I did love the merch they had, though. I really wanted to grab a few items! 😮?💨
I walked in here by chance, the decoration is very fun but also quite extravagant, I wasn't sure what to expect.
The café itself has very little space to sit: there's a narrow bench along one window & a small counter with four stools facing the other window (though realistically, it fits about three people comfortably). Since there was only one person working at the time, service took a little longer than usual, & our drinks were served in disposable cups.
To my surprise, it turned out to be one of the best cappuccinos I've had in Québec, absolutely delicious. The espresso was also excellent. The spinach & feta scone was solid, & the pistachio roll/muffin was a real treat.
Inside the cafe, it's a bit hard to tell what day or time it is, the place has a kind of surreal, timeless atmosphere. They also sell various souvenir-like items & specialty products.
Super cozy inside! There's not a lot of seating but it's the perfect spot for a tasty pastry & warm drink on a cold day. We tried the butter croissant & apricot danish & were very impressed. Highly recommend this cute little cafe!!
