Restaurant has a prime location. However, food leaves something to be desired. The signature steak is very average, nothing special about the sauce either. The texture of the meat is poor, chewy & without a nice crust. The salmon dish is outstanding, but is the only dish that is above my expectations. The back rib is too lean & lacked sauce. The poutine there is literally the worst poutine I've ever had, even worse than the McDonald one. The secret sauce does not pair well with the fries, & the cheese are large blobs of frozen madness. Worst poutine I've had. Unacceptable for it's price point...

Grosse déception malgré un service très agréable. Nous sommes venus dans un restaurant qui s'appelle l'entrecôte, on a commandé une entrecôte en salivant à l'avance de déguster une viande persillée. On nous a servi comme si c'était normal sans l'annoncer un haut de surlonge (viande épaisse & sèche absolument rien à voir avec une entrecôte) on a mangé un steak classique maigre avec des frites allumettes sèches alors qu'on a payé 46$ pour une entrecôte une viande savoureuse persillée. Publicité donc mensongère, on aurait aimé qu'on nous prévienne.

We enjoyed our meal here. Really enjoyed our waiter...he was super helpful & attentive. The food was excellent...starting with the salad & cream of onion soup. I got the chicken & root veggies...my wife got the steak & frites. Steak wasn't as good as she hoped but was ok. Beautiful space on a chilly night.

Malheureusement, ce restaurant ne vaut pas le rapport qualité-prix. La cuisson de mon steak était mal faite (bien cuit au lieu de saignant) alors j'ai proposé une réduction du prix plutôt que de gaspiller, mais ils ont préféré le jeter & recommencer. Le dessert était des profiteroles qui étaient gelés comme de la roche. La serveuse nous a affirmé que le coulis au chocolat était chaud, alors que ce n'était pas le cas & notre assiette était gelée. Les deux serveurs étaient plutôt antipathiques & nous avons donc payer un repas beaucoup trop coûteux pour que ça vaut (autant la qualité de la nourriture que le service à la clientèle). Je ne le recommande pas.

Ça faisait 10 ans que je n'y étais pas allé & l'assiette de steak frites était identique... La table d'hôte était décevante avec un potage bien simple & une salade Boston très ordinaire. La viande est très bonne & le désert l'était aussi, mais pour le prix, je préfère aller ailleurs.

Good food but the ratio sides to meat was a bit off as I got a bit too many fries for my 7oz steak. Meat was cooked to perfection & sauce was really good too.

Staff was very accommodating given that I came in a bit before closing. Very kind & attentive to the customers. Thank you for a good experience
