Steak was tough, & undercooked (blue instead of medium rare) but the sauce was fantastic.

Service was great, & the restaurant has a classic French bistro vibe.

Eating here was an overall amazing experience. The staff were very polite & served the food quickly, even though they had many other customers. The restaurant is on a beautiful, cozy street filled with various restaurants & shops nearby. The food was delicious, especially the bread & cheese, & the salad with Greek-style chicken which honestly reminded me of home. I would recommend dining here & would gladly return.

Nous étions à 4 un soir c'était très agréable de venir manger en terrasse ! Leur spécialité entrecôte était délicieuse & leur frites aussi ! Le personnel était vraiment adorable & souriant c'était super je recommande

Excellent service au top par contre si vous prenez l'entrecôte c'est plus un pavé de boeuf un peu raide qu'une entrecôte.

Je suis allé à l'entrecôte Saint-Jean de multiples fois dans le passé, c'est même devenu une tradition quand on passe un séjour à Québec.
Je n'y retournerai pas
J'ai commandé la plus grosse portion de steak, & celui-ci était un des plus coriaces que j'ai mangé. La sauce me semblait délayée, les frites étaient délicieuses.
Mauvais soir? Je ne crois pas..
Le service efficace, mais ce soir pas très sympathique.
Tellement d'autres options à Québec, surtout à ce prix .

I made a reservation by phone. When I got there, the woman couldn't find my reservation. We got seated nevertheless, but that made me wonder if they didn't want to seat me because of my skin color.

Other than that, the food was pretty decent.

Dans l'ensemble c'est une adresse correct.
Cependant c'est très loin de ressembler au vrai restaurant « l'entrecôte » qu'ils essaient d'imiter. Viande de très basse qualité ( pas de goût & contenant des nerfs très difficile à couper ) le goût de la cuisson est lui bon.
Les serveurs sont sympathiques mais pas à la hauteur. Verse l'eau a coter du verre s'en rend compte & recommence… Nous relançons 3 fois pour un verre à vin & l'attente est très longue.
Le prix du menu est correct.
