Le déjeuner s'est plutôt bien passé. Les serveurs étaient rapides & enthousiastes.
Un déjeuner complet (entrée + plat de 12 oz + dessert + café) à 25 € (hors boisson) restait raisonnable.
Seul bémol : la cuisson du beau morceau de boeuf, malheureusement trop cuite par rapport à la cuisson saignante demandée.

I was with a large group & as such generally have low expectations but the food was served at the correct temperature, properly cooked & service was outstanding given the large group. HOWEVER, I am temporarily disabled & several of this group are elderly. It was troubling that we had to eat downstairs & navigate a long staircase. But I am more concerned that if there were to be a fire, there is no escape route- that was the answer. No other way in or out of the downstairs serving room. I know it's a very cool, very old building, but fires happen in restaurants all the time.

We had the steak at L'Entrecôte Saint-Jean & it was absolutely incredible! It was perfectly cooked-tender, juicy, & packed with flavor. The signature mustard sauce was delicious & went so well with the crispy fries. The service was excellent-very friendly, attentive, & professional. The cozy French bistro atmosphere added a lovely touch to the whole experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Québec City
