This little boulangerie perfectly fulfills it's task of serving artisan pastries & quality coffee. Ordered around 10 am on Sunday & the popular items were mostly sold out. We ordered the pistachio croissant, the almond pastry, the maple pastry, & three of the muffins. The pistachio proved to be both unique & surprisingly delicious, but the muffins were rather plain & underwhelming. Would certainly return!
Enjoyed by locals & tourists. Warm & cozy. Great, high quality selection of pastries, muffins, coffees, teas & matcha.
Les Cafés du Soleil is a charming & cozy spot in the heart of Old Quebec, conveniently located within walking distance of the main streets & attractions.
While the café itself is small & intimate, the quality of its offerings is exceptional. The pastries are freshly baked, buttery, & full of flavour, & the coffee is rich, smooth, & perfectly prepared.
The staff are warm & genuinely friendly, creating an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. It's a wonderful place to take a break while exploring Old Quebec, enjoy a latte & croissant, & savour the moment.
Highly recommended!
Drinks were very good. Pastries were decent, not excellent. Service was prompt & professional. Staff was also very friendly. Seating is a bit cramped.
Everything was delicious, matcha latte, chai latte, teas, coffee. & so many good pastries
Very cool place. We had coffee there. They only serve coffee & pastries. They were kind & gave us recommendations for places to eat elsewhere for food other than pastries
This is a totally charming, friendly, neighborhood, & family owned/run coffee shop. The coffee was first-rate & the pastries were divine! What I appreciated most of all was the delightful, cheerful, & most helpful young woman who worked the front counter. What a great way to start my day while on my 3-day holiday. I was there every morning & will miss it tomorrow!
Established 30 years ago as a family-owned business, this café offers exceptional coffee crafted from a diverse selection of premium beans sourced globally, all roasted in-house in small batches for the perfect flavor. The pastries are outstanding as well, freshly baked in-house every morning. Don't miss!
