Les Trois Garçons offers a charming and bustling dining experience in the heart of Old Quebec, renowned primarily for its high-quality, flavorful burgers and classic bistro fare. Visitors consistently highlight the welcoming atmosphere, the excellent location perfect for people-watching, and the accommodating staff who provide fast and friendly service. With options ranging from delicious poutine and fresh salads to vegetarian and gluten-free choices, the restaurant is a popular spot for families, groups, and travelers alike, often noted for its reasonable pricing and vibrant street-side terrace.
I was looking for a restaurant in Old Quebec with a reasonably priced menu offering a standard pub menu, & I came across this place. I typically don't try restaurants with less than 4.5 stars, but I thought I'd give this place a try after having a lousy experience at La Buche. We were seated right away (without reservation) & I was happy to find the indoors of the restaurant cool & well ventilated. I ordered a salmon tartare with green salad while my partner ordered the burger with blue cheese. I enjoyed the salmon tartare; it was a good portion, & the salmon tasted very fresh. I did wish a bit more salt & acidity; it definitely could have benefited from more parmesan cheese, which would have enhanced both the saltiness & acidity. The salad on the side was pretty good, it was well dressed & the dressing had a good flavour that worked well with the salmon tartare. I didn't get to try my partner's burger, though he said he enjoyed it. The fries served on the side were quite good - they were fresh out of the fryer & had the right amount of salt. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here. The service was quick, but I would have liked for the server to check in on us more often. We both enjoyed the food, & what we paid was very reasonable given the quantity & the quality of the food. This is definitely one of the more reasonably priced restaurants you can find in Old Quebec. I'd strongly recommend giving this restaurant a try for anyone looking for a casual dining option in Old Quebec.
The burgers & fries are delicious, we had one „Le Bleu" & „B.L.T" burger which were both amazing. The Le Bleu burger had blue cheese in it which was something different & really savory. The patties were tasty & juicy as they should be. The staff was very friendly & attentive & we had a lovely evening with great burgers. Definatley a restaurant you can visit if you are craving for „not fast food" burgers.
Food was just about okay, just about adequate. Didn't finish the meal. Server was really nice & friendly & offered a replacement side yet was not impressed with the food unfortunately. The hostess seating guests, for some reason, wanted to seat me (solo) in a part of the restaurant that was empty, even though the front part was populated... not sure what that was about & I requested to be seated by the other guests. Will not return.
Amazing experience. During our 1-week stay in Quebec we went 3 times! The service is fast & kind, the food is delicious every time. Foods we tried that were great: - Fish & chips - Chicken fingers - BBQ Burger - Melted brie - Chicken Nachos - Cheesecake Also the homemade fries are incredible! Price was what you'd expect in a restaurant of the area & for 2 people. Small but important detail, it's also LGBT+ friendly.
Food: 3.5 Stars Service: 3 Stars Ambience: 3 Stars Value: 3.5 Stars Overall: 3.25 Stars Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Les Trois Garçons, renowned for its gourmet burgers nestled in a bustling tourist attraction area. My visit was impromptu, spurred by a midday craving for something hearty & satisfying. I was immediately struck by the selection of burgers-while not extensive, it was thoughtfully curated, ensuring something palatable for everyone, including a delightful kids' menu. The standout aspect for me was the friendly & reasonable service. The staff managed to strike a perfect balance between professionalism & warmth, attending to our needs without overwhelming us. This made the dining experience especially enjoyable, knowing that any request would be met with a swift & courteous response. I appreciated the simplicity & focus of their menu. It didn't boast an overwhelming variety, but each item seemed to be crafted with care & attention to detail, which resonated well with my expectations of a gourmet burger spot in such a vibrant location. In summary, Les Trois Garçons delivers a solid dining experience-excellent for families, tourists, & anyone looking to enjoy a good meal in a friendly atmosphere. Whether you're a burger aficionado or just in the area exploring, this place merits a visit. My advice? Dive into their menu with an open mind & a hearty appetite-you won't be disappointed! kellychan360
Wait staff were very friendly & they had English menus which made things easier for us. We enjoyed the French onion soup, poutine & the original burger - Would definitely return! We parked at Stationnment Youville & enjoyed touring around the city but it's only about a 5 minute walk if you wanted to go straight from the parking lot.
