While visiting Quebec for a few days, my husband & I were lucky enough to find this gem of a restaurant for breakfast. Everything was healthy & delicious, & the service was outstanding. Even though we don't speak French (sadly), the server treated us like we were locals. We enjoyed it so much that we even came back the next day. We were lucky enough to have the same server, & she even remembered our order! It's special to be traveling & be treated so warmly. It really left a positive impact on us, & we can't wait to go back to Quebec & visit this lovely cafe again! We also found a lot of the food in Quebec, although delicious, quite rich & heavy, so we appreciated their fresh, nutritious, & creative menu.
Beau café tout près des boutiques & du quartier touristique. Le sandwich déjeuner était excellent. L'ambiance était parfaite pour prendre un café en discutant.
Loved the ambiance, the people & the food. I was looking for a cafe that offer a sofa to the readers & i found it there. I was able to be comfortable reading/studying. That os my new favorite

nouveau spot pref!! belle place pour un café le matin ou bien aller prendre un verre le soir, manger & papoter:)) les drinks sont quand même dispendieux, mais ils sont originaux & très bons, à essayer!!
Superbe petite adresse en Basse-Ville pour un brunch. Les oeufs à la turque sont incroyables, tout comme le pain doré tiramisu dont on retrouve absolument tous les marqueurs de ce dessert italien iconique. Le café est très bon également. Produits frais de qualité, une adresse à considérer fortement à Québec!
This was honestly one of the worst café experiences I've had in Quebec City in a very long time.
We stopped in this morning for a hot chocolate & a latte. The hot chocolate wasn't hot at all it was basically cold chocolate. The latte was barely drinkable. Both drinks were completely bland.
We also ordered a waffle with ricotta, honey, jam, & grapes. It was awful. The waffle tasted frozen, wasn't crispy at all, & had a dense, doughy texture with no flavor. My wife barely touched it.
The server clearly noticed that the waffle was left almost untouched but never asked if everything was okay or tried to fix the situation. There was no follow-up, no attention to detail, & no real sense of care.
I ordered a yogurt. It's hard to mess up a yogurt, yet somehow it was still disappointing.
I'll say this: the place itself looks cute, the décor is festive & very Christmassy. But at the end of the day, décor doesn't make up for poor food & bad drinks. They should invest far more in food quality & much more thoughtful, attentive service.
Overall, extremely disappointing. I won't be coming back.
Les brunchs sont délicieux & les cocktails aussi, surtout durant la période des Fêtes. Le café est excellent & de spécialité - gros coup de coeur pour les lattes à la pistache l'hiver & les cafés glacés toniques au pamplemousse.
L'architecture du local est magnifique. On y retourne sans hésiter !
