This was honestly one of the worst café experiences I've had in Quebec City in a very long time.
We stopped in this morning for a hot chocolate & a latte. The hot chocolate wasn't hot at all it was basically cold chocolate. The latte was barely drinkable. Both drinks were completely bland.
We also ordered a waffle with ricotta, honey, jam, & grapes. It was awful. The waffle tasted frozen, wasn't crispy at all, & had a dense, doughy texture with no flavor. My wife barely touched it.
The server clearly noticed that the waffle was left almost untouched but never asked if everything was okay or tried to fix the situation. There was no follow-up, no attention to detail, & no real sense of care.
I ordered a yogurt. It's hard to mess up a yogurt, yet somehow it was still disappointing.
I'll say this: the place itself looks cute, the décor is festive & very Christmassy. But at the end of the day, décor doesn't make up for poor food & bad drinks. They should invest far more in food quality & much more thoughtful, attentive service.
Overall, extremely disappointing. I won't be coming back.
Les brunchs sont délicieux & les cocktails aussi, surtout durant la période des Fêtes. Le café est excellent & de spécialité - gros coup de coeur pour les lattes à la pistache l'hiver & les cafés glacés toniques au pamplemousse.
L'architecture du local est magnifique. On y retourne sans hésiter !

Le menu est original. On est pas complètement dans les classiques du déjeuner qu'on voit partout & ça fait du bien. Tout est frais & avec une petite twist originale qui fait du bien !
Vraiment un endroit charmant, l'ambiance est agréable, le menu est simple mais goûteux & le café est excellent. Les serveurs sont gentils. Jy suis allée deux fois & jy retournerai sans hésitation !!
I still think about visiting this cafe when my partner & I went to QC for a romantic trip. The black coffee is just BETTER here. Service is amazing. The apple pancakes are UNREAL. Cocktails were perfection. If I lived here I'd come every week.
Mon copain & moi adorons cet endroit. L'ambiance du brunch est vraiment charmante, & le personnel l'est tout autant : souriant, accueillant, efficace… Rien à redire de ce côté-là. En prime, il y a des petites fleurs fraîches sur les tables & l'endroit est agréable & confortable. Un vrai plaisir ! ✨ Ma belle-mère & moi avons pris un cappuccino, absolument délicieux, & mon copain a opté pour un café infusé à froid (latté) que je lui avais recommandé, après l'avoir moi-même essayé à plusieurs reprises. Toutefois, la recette a changé : il avait un goût fort de muscade ou d'une autre épice qui nous a un peu surpris, mais pas dans le bon sens… il ne pouvait plus savourer pleinement le bon goût de son café. Ce serait peut-être une bonne idée d'en avertir les clients ou de l'indiquer sur le menu. Pour le brunch, nous étions venus spécialement pour les oeufs bénédictines à l'avocat, notre grand favori. Aucun autre endroit ne les prépare aussi bien. Malheureusement, cette option n'était plus au menu. Nous avons donc essayé la nouvelle version des oeufs bénédictines avec des champignons (& extra bacon). Mais là, grosse déception : la portion était beaucoup trop petite & le goût globalement peu appétissant & harmonieux. Peut-être l'assaisonnement des champignons… sur 3 personnes, aucun n'a vraiment apprécier son repas. Nous allons y retourner pour sûr, mais peut-être moins pour le brunch ou en essayant d'autres options. Merci le Maelstrom
