We stopped at Levis, QC overnight on our way to Moncton from Toronto & the front desk clerk suggested Il Matto for dinner. Although we didn't have a reservation & the restaurant was very busy, they managed to find a seat for us & we were very happy that they did. The menu options were interesting, the service was exceptional & the food was amazing. If you live in the area or you are passing through & need a great meal, this should be your choice!

Merveilleux souper, dans une ambiance conviviale mais pas bruyante. Les plats étaient très bons mais la valeur ajoutée est véritablement le service qui est tout simplement remarquable. (Beaucoup de bienveillance, de conseils sur le choix des plats). Clairement un service 20/20 !

It's very sad that the quality of the food as come down, the signature dish pappardelle with wild mushrooms was horrible very oily & the mushrooms were not well cooked.

Après 2 hrs ,entrain de terminer notre café le responsable de l'accueil vient à notre table & nous textuellement « j'ai besoin de votre table,veillez quitter « alors que le couple occupant la table voisine était arrivé bien avant nous .Cela se passe à Lévis le 18 octobre 24 .Un resto pourtant que j'avais fréquenté à plusieurs reprise depuis son ouverture...Vous comprendrez que c'est terminé pour moi.

The service here was amazing, the waitress was on top of everything & always coming back & ensuring everything was to our standard. It's a quaint place & comfortable seating. They had a few vegan options & quite a few vegetarian options. No dessert options for vegans though, & no alternative milk either. It doesn't get a 5 star as it didn't feel as authentic Italian but it was very good.
