Review Summary

Mora offers a sophisticated and festive dining experience characterized by a stunning, elegant atmosphere and high-quality Italian cuisine. Many guests frequently praise the exceptional, professional, and attentive service provided by the staff, which often makes for a memorable visit. While most diners enjoy the delicious pasta, cocktails, and unique desserts, some reviews suggest that portion sizes and pricing can vary in satisfaction, and the lively, club-like ambiance in the evenings may be better suited for those seeking a vibrant night out rather than a quiet conversation. Overall, it is highly recommended as a must-visit destination in Quebec City for those who appreciate a chic setting and high-standard service.

Beautiful space, very attentive service, incredible food, & I loved the aerial circus performances! The rissoto was probably the best that I've had!

My wife & I had dinner at this highly rated restaurant last night. Our experience was not great. The appetizer which was about $22-25, but it was only one ravioli. We shared it, & it was about one mouthful each. I felt the value was not there. My wife had a veal dish, & she said it was the toughest veal she ever had. I tried it & she was exactly right. She could not eat it. I must say that the only redeemable thing was that the attentive service & the atmosphere was excellent. Other than that, the worst meal we ever had in Quebec. I am usually not so blunt, but I feel I must alert others.

Must've been my lucky day!

I had the most wonderful experience dining at Mora & was taken care of by Dely.

We had made a reservation for the bar side as that was all I saw available at the time. Upon arrival we asked if there were any tables open & we were seated on the second level.

Dely, our server was exceptional, knowledgeable & attentive. He provided a great run down on the menus, answered any questions we had, took his time with our service & provided great recommendations which made the night all the better.

This is a 10/10 in my books for a romantic date night with your special ones.

Bonus points for the very charming dessert menu on a can of tomatoes!

I'd highly recommend & will return upon my next visit to QC

I meant to write this earlier, but I misplaced the bill & couldn't remember our server's name.
After being turned away by a rather rude hostess at the restaurant across the street, we were lucky that Mora had one of their snow globes available during the Christmas market. We stopped in for drinks, & it completely turned our day around.
We were greeted by a very kind gentleman, & from that moment our mood shifted instantly. Our server was absolutely impeccable. She recommended drinks based on what we described liking, checked on us regularly without being intrusive, & made just the right amount of small talk. Honestly, for most of our visit we were talking about how great she was - attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, & very well spoken.
It's the kind of service you don't come across very often these days, & it really stands out. We often think back to this experience when visiting other places where the service feels mediocre in comparison.
Unfortunately, we already had dinner plans & didn't get to try the food. But next time I'm in Quebec City, this will definitely be on my list.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Mora !

What really made our visit stand out was the service. Charlie, our server, was attentive, friendly, & professional throughout the meal. She made sure we were comfortable, explained the menu well, & checked in at just the right moments without being intrusive. Her excellent service truly enhanced our overall experience.💯

We had a wonderful time eating at Mora's.
We were walking down Grand Allee during the winter time & I saw the domes outside the restaurant & thought it would be a fun experience to have dinner in one! I went online & booked one. It was fun to be able to eat'outside' during the winter time. The dome was very comfortable, they can adjust the temperature & the lighting in it. They also provide blankets in case someone gets cold.
Our server was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the wines. Very attentive with everything.
The food was great! We had the following dishes:
Burrata: it was interesting, it was ok
Bucatini ai funghi e foie gras - this was excellent. We like mushrooms so we really enjoyed this dish.
Mezzelune all'aragosta - this was so good, it was basically pasta with a lobster bisque as a sauce, topped with large shrimps.
Rigatoni al coniglio - this was good, nothing exceptional, I would pick a different dish next time.
The inside of the restaurant looked real nice.
Overall we enjoyed our experience!

Every bite was perfection.
Booked this restaurant on a whim while in Quebec City to see the German Christmas markets & so glad I did. The entire service staff were attentive, friendly, & full of excellent recommendations. All of our dishes tasted great, came out quickly, & with generous portions. All the food at the tables around us also looked amazing. Even with a lot of other diners in the restaurant, it was never too noisy (kudos to whoever designed those acoustics) & we never felt neglected. Even the bathrooms looked like they were planned with care & attention, so you know they care about all the little details with the food & service as well. Discovered that they also had a number of outdoor domes that you could book, will have to remember that for next time. I would happily eat here any day of the week. It's the kind of restaurant that you'd take your mother too to impress her, but won't break the bank. We had 2 mains, 2 desserts, & a drink, & it was only a little over $100 which we found to be very reasonable for the portions, service, & quality.

This Italian restaurant in Quebec City somehow captured it all- funky atmosphere, warm & attentive service (Dely, our waiter was efficient, friendly & even fun- can't say enough about him!!!) & superb food! Although we typically visit different restaurants & never repeat the same restaurant in a new place, if this weren't our last night in town, we would return.
