On October 1, 2015, after 14 months of development, Noctem Artisans Brasseurs opens its doors on rue du Parvis in Quebec City in a brew-pub formula. It is not without a good dose of stress that this project including a complete catering offer as well as a craft brewery opens its doors with a team of totally inexperienced owners. From the opening, hard work has gone into providing our customers with the best products and the best possible experience with us.
From October 2017, with an independent and efficient team at the brewpub, work began to find a location to set up a can beer production plant. This project will see the light of day in December 2018 on rue Vincent-Massey in the Saint-Malo district of Quebec. The products brewed there are mostly recent IPA recipes such as Catnip, which represent a high proportion of the factory's production. These products are quickly finding takers and will justify an increase in the initial capacity from 250,000L in December 2018 to more than double following the expansion in April 2020.
Despite all these developments and the associated learnings, what drives us remains the hard and perpetual work to improve our processes and our products to offer our customers quality craft beer that they can then enjoy and share!

Venant passer quelques jours dans la région de Québec nous avons décider d'essayer, ma conjointe & moi, un restaurant au hasard à proximité de notre hôtel. Situé à 2 minutes de marche, nous sommes entrés dans le restaurant. Après qu'une serveuse nous informe quon peut choisir une place dans le restaurant, Alexis notre serveur est venu prendre notre commande. Ma conjointe a pris une pinte de bière & j'ai décidé d'essayer la portée de chatons qui consistent à une dégustation de 4 bières de 5 oz chacune. J'en ai choisi 3 & Alexis m'a donné comme défi qu'il choisisse la 4e. J'ai accepté. Il est revenu & après avoir bu les 3 premières je me suis lancé & bu celle de son choix. Je n'ai pas été déçu.
Nous avons aussi mangé des burgers & le restaurant offre de la salade au lieu de frites. Nous n'avons pas été déçu & avons raffolé notre souper. Un gros merci à Alexis, un gars très sympathique!!
Je vous conseille de changer votre salade verte pour la salade de melon & chèvre...un vrai délice &...la bière mystère était la numéro 2.
Un incontournable.
Good beer & good foods. They give very big salad. One of my favorite craft beers in Quebec city.

I went there to celebrate international cat day. I went before midnight. The guy came to say that last call already & we have to leave but we see people was drinking at the bar.
I love Noctem beers. I go buy at the factory often & go to the bar sometimes.
Very disappointed with the service at the bar. I suggest if you call last call at 11.30 pm you should write on Google close at midnight not 1 am.

The staff was friendly. I tried the new small appetizer ribs, & they were delicious! the prices were very reasonable.
Un bel endroit. Très bon service. J'ai pris le hamburger. La viande la plus dure que j'aie mangé depuis longtemps. Dommage. Le goût de la salade était bon mais le hamburger difficile à manger. À $25 je m'attendais à quelque chose meilleur qu'un Harvey's...
Fantastic brewery in Quebec City. The burger was very tasty & the accompanying salad was delicious. Beers were really top notch, on par or better than a lot of the US beers I've had. Can't wait to get back when returning to QC.
Just enjoyed a wonderful lunch accompanied by some delicious beers. We stopped in after a morning of touring Old Quebec & we were hungry, thirsty & weary from lots of walking. We were immediately greeted with friendly service that quickly attended to all our needs. They have an extensive list of beers that spans the entire spectrum of personal taste. We had to go thru 2 flights of beers to make our final choice as there were so many tasty options. Their beers are excellent! In the meanwhile we had discovered the exquisite joy of the braised rib appetizer. Incredible "fall off the bone" tender & delicious ribs!!! I enjoyed the black pudding pastry entree with a generous salad that accompanied it. The service was excellent (attentive & helpful). We will likely go there again before our trip back home. AMAZING! we were definitely surprised. From past experiences, breweries have great drinks & okay food. Typically, burgers, nachos, sandwiches, etc. The Noctem menu surprised us. It's quite small, only a few options, which made us a bit indecisive at first. We were not sure whether to try something new or stick to a good ol' burger with our beers. We ordered the burger & the osso bucco. What a surprise that was. Everything was cooked so perfectly. Every single component of the meal stood out, yet also blended perfectly with the other components. The burger: Insanely juicy. The bun was so so fresh, & toasted perfectly. Each bite was soft & crunchy. All the ingredients worked together very well. The salad on the side was so simple yet so delicious. Some greens with cherry tomatoes & a light vinaigrette. The osso bucco: The meat was falling off the bone. Each bite makes your mouth water. The puree was unbelievable. Vegetables were roasted well. The combination of all the flavours was perfect. The food was so delicious that we forgot we had gone here for beer. Beer: We ordered a flight as well as a few pints of one of their lighter beers. Great selection, great taste. Service: Really amazing. Our waitress was extremely helpful with answering questions, checking in on us, & had no problems with the language difference. We were not bothered while we were eating, & we were not rushed out after we were finished. Incredible service & delicious food+beer, for such a low cost. Our entire bill was less than $90. If we ever come back to Quebec City, this will be the first place we come to eat. Keep up the amazing work.
Cats, beers, what more could you want ? Very modern bar. The salad was great, the Bahn mi seemed to be missing something, but was good overall. The shrimp salad was great. The selection of beers was nice, & we found something for everyone.
le properté de la descente des escaliers a vos WC toilettes laisse à désirer & pour être honnête un refresh ne ferait pas tard.
pour le menu il manque définitivement au moins un choix de salade. & pour ceux qui n'apprécie pas le canard il y a peu de choix. Serveur sympathique & professionnelle.
