A very nice large open space with views of the St Lawrence River. Good food & coffee at reasonable prices. A nice reprieve from more touristy areas.

Delicious sandwiches & hot chocolate, along with a spacious & relaxing atmosphere. Compared with the rather mediocre fast-food options often found in museums in Toronto, this café inside the museum was a very pleasant surprise. It really reflects the care & love for life that people in Québec put into even simple things. Highly recommended!

My family enjoyed their lunches but unfortunately, despite seeing some indication online that they had gluten-free options on their menu, the staff seemed to have no idea what I was talking about when asking for'options sans gluten' I speak French, so it wasn't that... I got the impression the staff simply had no idea what gluten is & why some people can't eat it. The fact that they kept offering me vegetarian options was not surprising if they don't know any better... But it was a disappointing part of the day, to have to buy caramel popcorn for lunch while my family had the normal fare, only to be told by the manager after we'd already paid that they actually also have GF yogurt & a quinoa salad... So I didn't starve but I wouldn't have bought the popcorn if I'd known there were other options. & had I known that the only GF options were a bit of yogurt & a small quinoa salad, we would have eaten elsewhere before going to the museum. A bit of education for staff & maybe one more option (GF crackers, frozen GF bread even) would have made for a better experience. But everyone else had a good lunch, so if you're not dealing with celiac, you'll likely enjoy eating there.

Une très bonne pause repas lors de notre visite au Musée de la civilisation. Les employées étaient bien polies & attentionnées. La nourriture est de bonne qualité & très savoureuse. Bonnes portions & prix raisonnables. Espace ouvert très écho.
