Restaurant Parmesan was founded by true Italians over 48 years ago. Over the years, Luigi (known to all) has passed on his passion for food and Italian customs such as La Dolce Vita, hot chestnuts in autumn, our traditional balsamic vinegar, our famous homemade prosciutto and many other well-kept secrets. Over the years, Luigi has amassed over 4,000 bottles that are displayed throughout this museum that is Parmesan.

J'adore le Parmesan, c'est une institution dans le Vieux-Québec, rien de moins. Le service est bon & la nourriture aussi. Bien que les prix soient assez élevés, on retrouve les mêmes goûts qu'il y a 20 ans. L'accordéoniste, très gentil, ajoute évidemment à l'ambiance & ce, en plus du décor.

Service rapide & efficace!
The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous, & the food was delicious. The entertainer was fantastic & added so much to the overall experience. Pleasant, exceptional friendly staff.
However, we were disappointed with the meatballs, which seemed to be frozen rather than homemade, as we had expected fresh, house-made meatballs. The drink prices were also surprisingly high, a beer was $10.95 & my espresso martini was $24. While the martini was beautifully presented & felt like a dessert cocktail, the price was a bit of a shock.
Overall, the ambiance & entertainment made for a wonderful evening, but improvements in food quality & more reasonable drink prices would make the experience even better.
Wow wow wow !!! Mes amies & moi n'avons JAMAIS étées si bien reçues dans un restaurant. Giuseppe vous accueille en chanson accompagné de son accordéon. Il ajoute sa propre couleur à son grand répertoire & vous accorde même votre demande spéciale.
Que dire de Sofia, une dame extraordinaire attentionnée & souriante, entourée d'un personnel très efficace, vous ne manquerez de rien du tout ! Tous ces gens sont supervisés par Stéphane qui lui aussi brille par présence & ses attentions particulières de vous concocter LE dessert que vous avez demandé.
Quelle soirée exceptionnelle, une ambiance hors du commun & une bonne bouffe aux couleurs de l'Italie vraiment aavoureuse. Une première expérience pour nous & sûrement pas la dernière!

I have tried many restaurants in Quebec & took a class to be a Tour Guide in the city & one of the things we were taught was get to know the restaurants so we could recommend them to visitors . Both the exterior & it's fanciful interior are elegant & offer a unique cozy Italian flair. When one enters, you are immediately taken care of & given the best seats available. There's nothing uncaring about the way one is treated. I've tried different plates from the menu & they all have been superb. The waiters are perfection & are supported by staff assistants. As you enter this charming environment you will see on your left a banquet of desserts available that have no equal in all of Old Quebec!
1st visit to Quebec & while walking in Old Town we came upon this restaurant during lunch time & we read the menu posted outside & thought we would try it. The atmosphere is charming. Our servers were very nice, but it took over 35 minutes to receive our food after ordering. I ordered the French onion soup, it was bland with only a few pieces of onion & arrived burnt & overcooked on top. My husband ordered the filet mignon shish kebabs cooked medium & the meat was tender & flavorful but overcooked. We opted not try a dessert.
À première vue, ce restaurant du vieux Québec semblait charmant. Une fois à l'intérieur, un chanteur à l'accordéon se promène aux tables & il y a des desserts, repas & cocktails flambés. Si vous aimez l'animation, vous serez charmés. Parcontre, la qualité des plats n'étais pas aussi bien. Sauce Alfredo peu goûteuse, pâtes trop cuites.
Très belle expérience, j'ai vraiment aimé l'ambiance, surtout avec l'accordéoniste! Notre serveur & tous les employés ont offert un service attentionné. J'ai pris l'escalope de veau à milanaise & mon copain a pris les pâtes au pesto, on a tous les deux aimé notre plat. Le dessert (gâteau au chocolat) était aussi bon.
