A beautifully located & well-designed Italian restaurant in Old Quebec City. The pizzas we had were delicious which is one of the highlights of our visit to Quebec. They also had a separate kids' menu. We ordered pizza & pasta for the kids as well, & they really enjoyed it despite usually being quite picky. Our server was extremely polite & helpful
Had a delicious pizza & spaghetti dinner. Good taste ( I'm from NYC & New Jersey so I know what good Italian tastes like). Small venue so make reservation. Not an extensive menu but has the favorites.

Very good food we walked in as a group of 514-year-olds on a school trip. They treated us like normal. We sat down & had a very nice Italian lunch. Most of us got pizzas & then one pasta usually some of the best Italian food we've had in a while five stars do recommend
POLINA Pizzeria offers a delightful ambiance complemented by exceptional cuisine & genuinely warm, courteous service. Guests can choose between indoor & outdoor seating, making it a versatile dining experience. Truly one of the finest Italian restaurants in the area.
Fantastic dining experience in Quebec City! We had the pizza, pasta Alfredo, & cheese fondue - all three were delicious & full of flavor. The cozy ambiance & friendly service made it even better. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Italian comfort food in the heart of the city!
My husband & I have always struggled to find a restaurant accepting of our dog to go out to eat. After some research, I came across this restaurant online that had positive reviews about allowing pets. We were hoping that it would be okay, even though our dog is not a smaller sized dog. When we called to ask, we spoke to Alexandra - the owner, she was understandably a bit hesitant about the size of our dog, but we were confident even with her size, she'd behave really well & crossed our fingers it would work out. We let them tell us a time that would work for them to reserve a spot because we would absolutely take any acceptance to be able to enjoy a dinner out for our last night. We actually did not expect to be seated inside the restaurant & prepared to sit outside.
When we got there, we realized they were trying to work out an area INSIDE the restaurant which made us even more appreciative of them willing to accomodate & accept us.
On top of this excellent customer service, once we got seated in a private area in the basement, we ordered the antipasti plate & both had pizzas. The food was absolutely amazing! I was looking forward to an authentic Italian meal, being from an Italian background. The food was fresh & tasted local. The antipasti 10/10, one pizza we got a size small'Dolce Vita' my husband as the it all, I got the mini'La Pollina' pizza & that was PERFECT portion for me to finish. The pizza was thin, had generous toppings & tasted fresh 10/10.
At the end of the evening, even though they were basically closed, they still made a cappuccino for us & then we're so nice & attentive to our dog Bridget - they brought her a custom puppuccino! Alexandra & the other staff were amazing & so attentive to Bridget. They all love dogs, & if you are looking for a go to dog accepting restaurant, this is your go to! I'd recommend them 100x over & we now have a place in Quebec City we know we'll be accepted!
Thank you again Alexandra! We need more people & restaurants like yours!
I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is outstanding, & our server was incredibly sweet & provided top-notch service. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine & cozy atmospheres, this place is a must-visit!
We were looking for a restaurant with delicious vegan options, & we're so glad we had dinner here. We ordered spaghetti with tomato sauce & a Margherita pizza for the kids with vegan cheese, & ordered another pizza (the name is escaping me) artichokes, pine nuts & other deliciousness. The pizza was SO good that we waited to order another pizza. The vegan cheese they use is so delicious & the crust was deliciously thin. We were so impressed with the food & the pizza in particular that we hope to return very soon. My italian husband said it's the best vegan pizza he has ever had! The service was stellar...very attentive & patient wait staff. & just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it's so close to the Château Frontenac that you can see it from the outdoor patio! Excellent food, location & service, with delicious vegan options...what more could we ask for?!
We chose this Italian restaurant for dinner on two consecutive evenings.
On the first night, we ordered the La Margarita pizza, Coscia d'anatra confit (duck leg), & iced tea. The pizza was authentic & nicely cooked, & the duck leg was perfectly done, just as we requested - served with fries, & I really loved it. However, we didn't enjoy the iced tea.
During our second visit, I wasn't very hungry, so we went with the Spaghetti alla Napoletana & a crème brûlée. The pasta was good, especially the sauce - simple & flavorful. The crème brûlée was the best we had on our trip.
We had reserved a table for our first visit, but on the second evening, we considered getting takeout. Unfortunately, we were told they weren't doing takeout that evening, & we ended up waiting around 20-30 minutes for a table. The staff member managing the front that night seemed a bit rude, & we noticed several customers leaving after being turned away or kept waiting.
Thankfully, a staff member from the previous evening eventually recognized us & helped us get seated. That really saved the experience for us.
So overall - the food is good, & I'd recommend this place, but make sure to book a table in advance!
