May family & I were visiting the Quebec City area last week. We spent an afternoon in Old Town & at the end of a long day, chose to eat at Polina Pizzeria as they could accommodate my plant-based diet. Our two sons speak French fluently, however, my wife & I cannot. Sam & Alex served us & were awesome. They spoke with the boys in French & made my wife & I very comfortable speaking in English to us. Alex pointed out vegan options to me & explained what I could enjoy. My wife had the Alfredo pasta with Chicken. One son had the duck, one son had the La Pollo pizza. I had the La Trapanese Pizza. We did not wait long. All the dishes were fantastic. The atmosphere was quaint, cozy & clean. No question we will recommend & would return. Big thanks to Alex & Sam who elevated our experience entirely.

On our recent visit to Quebec City, we decided to skip French food one day & found Polina Pizzeria. They have lots to eat besides pizzas. We ordered veal parmigiana & poulet parmigiana plus a glass of Italian wine & sparkling water. All were very good. Cooked just right. Very busy restaurant but service was excellent. Seating both inside & out. We chose inside.

À 20 h lors de ma réservation on a su m'accueillir chaleureusement & avec courtoisie.
Préférant manger sur une table plutôt que sur le bar, on m'a gentiment proposé de m'installer au bar le temps que les clients s'en aille & que je puisse choisir le repas du soir.
Pour ma part j'ai opté pour une pizza Mac & cheese ainsi qu'un tiramisu pour le dessert.
Concernant la pizza je dois admettre que c'était plutôt classique, j'ai trouvé cette pizza bonne mais sans plus & une taille de pizza relativement petite mais suffisante pour ceux qui auront une petite voire une faim moyenne.🍕
Ensuite le tiramisu qui était vraiment excellent & surtout fait maison point notable ! Si vous aimez les tiramisu je vous le conseille vivement.
Quant à l'équipe, elle fût de bout en bout à votre service avec professionnalisme & surtout accompagnée d'un sourire des grands soirs.
I see why this spot is busy! The pizza is delicious! Nice & thin crust with the perfect distribution of sauce & toppings! It looks like a small pizzeria, but the layout is intricately designed for maximum seating capacity, with a diner style decor & atmosphere. Our server was quick, friendly & patient! Making a reservation is a must or else you'll be waiting for a while, I recommend popping in & trying their pizza, it really is 10/10!
During our trip to Quebec City, we initially found ourselves stuck in an overcrowded & overrated restaurant in the main tourist area, waiting endlessly for a meal. Thankfully, on the second day, we decided to explore beyond the usual tourist spots & stumbled upon this charming pizzeria - an absolute hidden gem! The restaurant exudes a quaint European vibe, offering a cozy & welcoming atmosphere. More importantly, the food & service were exceptional! On our first visit, we enjoyed the La Bolognese Pizza & Chicken Parmigiana for mains, followed by a delightful Crème Brûlée for dessert. Every bite was flavorful & perfectly cooked, making it one of the best food experiences of our trip. We loved it so much that we returned the next day! This time, we ordered Spaghetti Alla Napoletana &, of course, the Chicken Parmigiana again. The food was consistently brilliant, & the staff's warm & attentive service made it even more enjoyable. If you're in Quebec City & looking for a place to escape the crowds while indulging in delicious, high-quality meals, I can't recommend this pizzeria enough. It's worth the short walk from the main area - your taste buds will thank you!
During my trip to Montreal, I stopped by POLINA Pizzeria for a quick bite. We ordered the La Margarita & Spaghetti alla Napoletana, along with some beers. The food was good, but the staff seemed a bit off their game & lacked enthusiasm. They enforced a mandatory 15% tip, which felt a bit rigid, especially given the service we received. Honestly, I don't think they really earned it, but oh boy, they made sure they got it! Overall, it was a decent stop, but I might explore other options next time.
