Polina Pizzeria is frequently highlighted as a standout dining destination in Old Quebec City, known for its authentic Italian cuisine and warm, inviting atmosphere. Guests consistently praise the high quality and fresh ingredients of the pizzas and pasta dishes, with many noting the crusts are perfectly prepared and the flavors well-balanced. Beyond the food, the service is widely described as friendly, attentive, and efficient, contributing to a memorable experience for both families and couples. While the restaurant is popular and can occasionally become quite busy, the general consensus is that the charming setting, welcoming staff, and delicious menu make it a highly recommended spot for those seeking a comforting and genuine meal.
During my trip to Montreal, I stopped by POLINA Pizzeria for a quick bite. We ordered the La Margarita & Spaghetti alla Napoletana, along with some beers. The food was good, but the staff seemed a bit off their game & lacked enthusiasm. They enforced a mandatory 15% tip, which felt a bit rigid, especially given the service we received. Honestly, I don't think they really earned it, but oh boy, they made sure they got it! Overall, it was a decent stop, but I might explore other options next time.
What a lovely restaurant. My husband had spaghetti Bolognese, I had their French onion soup (wonderful). We shared a Caesar salad (I think they missed the garlic but it was very good) & a garlic bread. We're going back tonight.

Our 11yo chose this place for a late dinner tonight & it absolutely delivered. Super friendly staff, incredible food, good vibes & great tunes. We had the spaghetti vongole which was loaded with white clams. Also, the lasagne was top notch. A perfect serving size & make sure you ask for their chili oil to drizzle over it. You won't be disappointed. Oh & for those who enjoy the tunes, they are using a YouTube playlist called Vintage Reggae Cafe. I added it as a favorite so we can play this back home in our backyard patio. Overall 5 out of 5. Can't wait to come back. Etienne was our server & he was very welcoming & friendly.
I enjoyed the ambiance & service here, food was alright. Pizza was too soggy, I would prefer more dough. The ratio is a bit off for me. The calamari was good. I enjoyed my Mediterranean salad. The meatball spaghetti could be more flavorful overall. It ain't the most spectacular Italian food I've had but if you are feeling for Italian & in this tourist area, this is one of the higher ranked options.
Probably the best dine-in experience in the area. My partner & I got the Nespolino Red & White wines. For food, we got the 4 cheese pizza (4 slices) with Alfredo Spaghetti which was tasty beyond words. I'd definitely recommend anyone to come here at least once because when you do, you'd definitely go back.
Nice cosy Italian restaurant that serves decent pizza ! You can ask for no meat & they can't go without helping you. They have variety of food menu & drinks. However they usually have spaghetti pasta only. They can occupy groups between 2-8 easily!!
Must dine!! Can't stress enough. One of the best Italian dine-ins we have ever been to. From pasta, Pizza to bread, mocktails to the sides, the ambience & service all so good. We tried the Spaghetti Pasta Alfredo, Margarita pizza & Garlic bread & we didn't regret a bit. After so long I didn't need the'take-out' boxes after we were done eating. What a delicious & fulfilling experience. The server was also very nice & friendly. Bon apetit
My wife & I discovered Polina Pizzeria today. We split a Caesar Salad & Spaghetti Bolognese Sauce. The food was great, & Anthony, our server, gave us superior service. The food prices are good. This is a casual restaurant & well suited for a good meal without having to dress up. I highly recommend it.
