Nous étions 6 personnes. 3 personnes ont été très déçues des plats (2 poutines froides & philly cheese steak, très peu savoureux). Fish & chip (x 2) étaient très bons & irish stew aussi. Le menu est moins attrayant que par le passé.

Irish pub with screens for watching sports. The atmosphere is average, but definitely needs improvement: tables are sticky & too close together. Service is fairly quick, but the waiters struggle to manage the room once the place gets crowded. The Kilkenny beer & its taps are good, & the burger is decent, but the fries were soggy & cooked in oil that wasn't hot enough... maybe a little too much of a rush in the kitchen?

Great Irish pub in the centre of old Quebec City.
Live music, sports on screens, plenty of good service.
Highly recommend going there & I'd like to go back one day.

Not impressed. My first pick wasn't available. I alternatively had the Irish stew at & it was underwhelming. Half the size I expected at around $25. Mediocre taste. My companion had a Cob Salat & it had chunks of curried that doesn't belong into a Cob Salat. I had a bite of it but I am sorry, a cold Curry chicken isn't my thing. Added 1 can of carbonated water & the bill came to over $63. ( & the waiter printed bills for 2 tables & gave our bill to the table next to us. They paid it. After we got their bill for under $20. Us honest we made the waiter aware but by then the guest of the other table had already left. I have to assume the restaurant pocketed an extra $45)
We should have stuck with Alfonse that offered a 3 course lunch menu incl Americanos for $25 incl taxes per person.

I had the Irish pork burger, was ok.
The beer was in the right temperature . Great atmosphere. The guitar man was really good as well.

Your typical Irish bar but...

The building is hundreds of years old & is a sprawling labyrinth of alleyways & rooms. The skylight picture comes from the basement level after walking through arched low ceiling rooms made of the original stone.

That & the Guinness is solid makes this place worth a visit.

Good place to grab a quick bite. This place is quite huge. They got an upstairs & a downstairs. Typically decorated like an Irish bar. Price to food ratio is reasonable. Good atmosphere, especially in the evenings
