El edificio es muy muy lindo, y el personal también es majo. Lo único que falla es la comida, me pedí una burrata, esta era como un bocata, el pan sabía a salmón, y estaba quemada
Before having a close up experience with the majestic Montmorency Falls, we had a late lunch at this restaurant, which unfortunately didn't quite meet our expectations. We ordered the fish & chips & the Gourmet bowl with smoked salmon. The fish & chips were average, possibly overcooked, with tough breading & an uneven, dark brown color, although the flavor was good. The accompanying chips were greasy & irregularly cut. The Gourmet bowl, which seemed pre-made & straight from the fridge, tasted good but was let down by the extremely salty roasted butternut squash. Despite being understaffed, the friendly & accommodating crew managed to deliver orders in a reasonable time. They also struggled to clear tables in the busy al-fresco dining area. Overall, the food quality didn't justify the prices, but the view was spectacular & we were seated promptly despite not calling ahead of time for reservation.
Was a good lunch but couldn't see much of the beautiful scenery because trees were in the way so it was strange to be right next to a beautiful fall & not see it.

The view & servers were excellent, but the food was an utter disappointment. We got the fish & chips & fish coating looked overcooked when served. The fish was very tough to cut & had a tough chewy consistency & was luke warm. The fries were cold & tasted old. The small salad was the only thing that was decent on the plate. My partner got their Caesar salad with falafel which was at least better than the fish & chips, but the falafel wasn't great tasting. Seems as though many things are premade freezer items that are not worth the price in my opinion. I'm very confused how they have received so many reviews talking about how good the food was. It wasn't super busy while we were there so I feel as though this was their standard quality. I would suggest bringing a little picnic of food & sitting at the base of the falls to eat it. They had some picnic tables & the view is more impressive from there.
Gorgeous view - we sat in a table for 2 tucked away to the side & had a slight view of the falls in the distance peeking out from behind the trees. We could hear the water, too. Very picturesque. This view was not typical though as most tables face the front lawn & we were seated on the side. Food wise, it was ok. The restaurant is run by the park, whereas I thought it was independently owned. I had a delicious glass of wine, but the French onion soup was served with shredded cheese, not even melted, & sparse bread. The charcuterie plate we shared was very underwhelming. The wine & the view were the showstoppers & should have just went with that.
Our lunch was excellent. I had the penne pasta in a mushroom sauce & my sister had the salmon tartare.
A relaxed atmosphere on the terrace was appreciated after the long stair climb to the top of the falls.
Excellent service, & atmosphere, food was good portions. We sat by the railing on patio overlooking the falls & bridge. Server was attentive & friendly.
