A reliable spot with a focused menu that works in its favor - fewer options, but done well, & good value overall. The ribs were tasty, though they arrived at the table lukewarm rather than hot.

One thing to watch out for: the kitchen closes an hour before the pub itself does, & they didn't give us a heads up. One of us ended up under-ordering for dinner as a result - so if you're planning a full meal, make sure to arrive with plenty of time before closing.

Verdict: We'd come back, but more for a light dinner, apéro, or happy hour drinks than as a proper dinner destination.

J'adorais cet établissement &, depuis plusieurs années, il faisait partie de mes incontournables pendant les vacances. J'avais toujours hâte d'y retourner pour la qualité de ses plats, qui étaient toujours délicieux.

Malheureusement, cette dernière visite a été une grande déception. Le service était beaucoup plus lent qu'à l'habitude, les portions m'ont semblé nettement plus petites &, à ma grande surprise, nous n'avons même pas eu les fameuses frites gaufrées qui faisaient pourtant partie de l'expérience & de ce qui distinguait ce restaurant.

C'est vraiment dommage, car c'était une adresse que je recommandais sans hésiter. J'espère sincèrement que cette visite était une exception & que l'établissement retrouvera le niveau de qualité qui faisait sa réputation.

The food here was decent. What really stood out was the friendly & attentive service from the woman who greeted us at the door to the man behind the bar who waited on us. Both were impressively thoughtful. Great place for a relaxed beer & & sandwich.

Sehr freundlicher Service, große Auswahl an Getränken und unsere Poutines waren groß und lecker. Besonders das Rindfleisch darauf war ein Traum: butterzart. Es gibt vor Ort eine Speisekarte auf Englisch.
