Review Summary

Shogun receives praise for its flavorful menu, particularly the sushi, General Tao chicken, and generous portions offered at reasonable prices. Many patrons appreciate the bring-your-own-wine policy and the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes it a suitable spot for both casual dining and group gatherings. While the food quality is frequently highlighted as consistent and fresh, experiences with service vary significantly, ranging from exceptionally kind and professional to notably slow or indifferent during busier shifts. Although some diners have noted occasional issues with wait times or consistency, the majority view the restaurant as a go-to destination in Quebec City for those seeking tasty, affordable meals in a friendly setting.

It's first Japanese restaurant without any alcohol. No Japanese beers, no Japanese wine. It's very strange because people bring their wine & drink around. I don't believe how it possible in 2026!?
The plate from sashimi menu was full of strange & cheap sushi. Salad was well, why I move up to 3*. There is no English menu.
