Laura or server was outstanding. She was guite attentive, made great dining suggestions, & was very personable. I look forward to the next time I dine here with my family!!
The food & the service were excellent. Our waiter, Rémi, was appropriately attentive & efficient.
We each ordered the 6 oz filet mignon. It was properly cooked & attractively presented. It was expensive for what it was: a simple meal, very nicely-prepared. For a main course only, with no appetiser, drinks or dessert, $70/person seems very high.
I made a reservation & we arrived right on time. Fifteen minutes after we were seated, the reservations clerk called my cellphone in the apparent belief that we were late. That was an annoying interruption. There seems to be something amiss with their reservation system.
Steak Avenue in Vieux-Québec is a fantastic spot for steak lovers! The meat is perfectly cooked, juicy, & full of flavor, with sides that complement the dishes beautifully. The menu offers a great variety, & everything is prepared with care & quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm & stylish, perfect for a special evening or a nice dinner out. The service is friendly, professional, & attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a great steak in the heart of Old Quebec!

I had the pleasure of enjoying one of the best hamburgers I've had in a long time at this charming Quebec restaurant. The patty was perfectly cooked-juicy, flavorful, & seasoned just right-topped with fresh ingredients & served on a warm, perfectly toasted bun. Every bite was balanced & delicious, the kind of burger you remember long after the meal.
What really elevated the experience, though, was the outstanding service from Thomas. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, attentive, & professional, making us feel both welcome & well taken care of. He had great recommendations, checked in at just the right times, & brought genuine energy & kindness to the table.
A fantastic meal paired with top-notch hospitality-this place is a must-visit, & I'll definitely be coming back!
This place was awesome!! Our server, Leah, was lovely, she was super attentive & friendly. My personal favorite was the Short Rib from the Mac n Cheese, it was super tender & added so much to the Mac n Cheese!! Would totally come back!
Lea was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile & made us feel truly welcome. Her service was fast, attentive, & full of charm. She offered great recommendations & made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. We were especially impressed that Lea speaks Spanish - it made us feel even more comfortable & appreciated. Lea truly goes above & beyond - a real professional with a kind heart. We would come back just to be served by her again. Thank you, Lea!
After looking over the menu from our concierge's suggested restaurant, I knew that recommendation wasn't a good fit for our family. I went on OpenTable & checked out several places & arrived at Steak Avenue with very basic expectations, but we were so pleasantly with this little gem. For some reason I thought it would have been a much bigger place by the name, but it was cozy & quietly tucked into a hotel lobby…& we had an incredible experience. We arrived early & were seated since our table was ready. We started with some cocktails & soft drinks. The server said it was her first night & she did great. She went over the menu with us & made recommendations including the candy bacon, & it was a hit. Four pieces of bacon are hung from clips & then torched at your table. It was fun & delicious. The family next to us watched with envy as they were ending their meal & clearly didn't order it for themselves! We got filet mignon's with fries which came with delicious sautéed vegetables! We also had snow crabs, shrimp, sweet potato fries, the poutine, & an order of kids mac & cheese with ribs, molten lava cake & the crème brûlée. (& can't forget the chocolate hazelnut candies delivered with the bill). Everything was just perfect. Perfectly cooked steak, perfect temperature on all our items, everything came out from the kitchen in a timely manner, friendly attentive staff & a cute dimly lit space, suitable for family meals or romantic dates. It was actually the first meal in a very long time where everyone in our family equally loved it, a rarity!! If we were in town any longer we would certainly visit a second time. Casual enough to feel comfortable, but fancy enough to feel special.
