My wife & I visited the restaurant on a day trip to Saint George's from Maine. Throughout our time together, my wife & I have always been in search of good sushi, as my wife absolutely loves it. So, we have had our fair share of experiences of sushi from all over the United States. I can say, without a doubt, this was the best sushi establishment we have ever visited. We came early in the day & were the only ones in the restaurant. The staff members were incredibly kind & knowledgeable. They even put on English music over the speakers (nice touch). As all good sushi, it takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour to prep the order, so that was no surprise. We actually appreciate that part, because it shows much care is taken with the preparation of the food. Sushi is a very precise dish & steps need to be followed carefully to ensure safety & quality. So, if anyone is upset about the wait time, just know that if your sushi order comes out quickly, it's usually poor quality &/or unsafe to consume. So again, we appreciated the attention to detail & the time we waited for it, as the sushi served to us at this Sushi Taxi was of exceptional quality. I expected to pay much more for sushi of this quality. I could've been charged $100 a plate & I wouldn't have protested. There is no doubt that my wife & I will be returning to this location again. We will be telling our friends about it, I suggest everyone else do the same.
