For the price, I wouldn't order anything else except an original poutine. Ordered spicy hot dogs, & they were small & just had salsa on them. Was disappointed with them.

People from Québec city always say rhat Ashton poutine is the best in the world but honestly, it's ordinary. What was not ordinary but a real surprise was the hot dog. I took a hot dog expo & it was really good. That is something to rave about, more than the poutine.

Correct, je m'attendais à mieux. L'employée au comptoir de commandes ne sourit pas, était pressé de prendre notre commande & n'a pas fourni de détails après que je lui ai dit que c'est notre première visite donc on prends 2 minutes pour regarder le menu derrière elle. On la sent impatiente. Il n'y avait personne derrière nous (4) pour commander à 11h30. Le hot dog était très bon, bien garni, chaud & le pain particulièrement très bon. La poutine était bonne, abondance de fromage très frais, la sauce est bonne & chaude. De généreuses portions. Le hamburger double Ashton était savoureux, bien garni. Le resto était très propre. Au moment de quitter vers midi, il était rempli.

Hot-dog & rosbif ben correct mais la poutine vraiment pas bonne! Frite recuite & sèche & manque de sauce!

Great poutine. Also tried the spicy hot dog, looked like a chili dog. Turned out to be basically a hot dog with salsa. Not the worst, but certainly not the best. Also had the galvaude poutine, very good. Follow for more...
