We are staying at the hotel & have had drinks & dinner at the restaurant. Drinks at the bar were great with excellent service.
Dinner however was quite a different experience. The service was very slow. Food was not timed well as we received our starter & then immediately after the main. We waited such a long time for water, refilling our drinks & subsequent courses. Additionally the thanksgiving dinner was not seasoned well & not served with the described items.

The lasagne was very good although a small portion.

I am not sure the restaurant reflects the accolades of the hotel.

Drinks took a bit too long … while we waited we were not offered any bar snacks (peanuts/popcorn).

Once drinks were served, they were not served on coasters. We actually folded a napkin in half.

My wife ordered an Espresso Martini … served in a stemmed rock glass … they were out of martini glasses.

2 stars due to poor experience vs. cost of two drinks … it was not cheap.

Very relaxing after a day of sight-seeing. We were welcomed graciously & seated quickly. The craft cocktails were supremely well made & served in beautiful glassware. & clear ice! The food was delicious & portions were generous. The pork ribs were great & the Caesar salad was perfect. Dessert was fantastic! The service was spot on all night. All the staff were friendly & pretended my school French was perfect! Can't say enough good about Bar Artefact.

Nous avons la bonne habitude de nous rendre à l'Auberge St-Antoine 3/4 fois par année! Un arrêt au bar Artefact va de soi avant d'aller souper! Cosy, sympathique & accueillant! Ludovick nous a reçu & ce fut très agréable & professionnel! Un excellent souvenir & des rires de satisfaction de nous tous (nous étions 4 convives)! Je souhaite que ce jeune homme soit à votre embauche pour une bonne période ( il est là depuis 6 mois)! Encore Merci & Bravo! Lyne, Hubert, Johanne & Armand!

My absolute favorite place to dine in my neighborhood. I love the atmosphere. The food is delicious. I usually sit at the bar & enjoy my meal with a yummy cocktail & the company of the bartenders as I'm usually dining alone. They are great! I've been here at least 3 times or more & every single time I've never been disappointed. I love the variety of food options & the seasonal changes in the menu, though some items are permanent. I can't wait to visit again, which will be soon.

We were seated in a cozy nook next to the fireplace, the perfect spot for a cold winter night. We enjoyed the food & went with the waiter's recommendations, including the incredible fries-crispy & topped with grated St-Louis cheese-& a refreshing homemade lemonade. We also indulged in the Billionaire's Bar, a melt-in-your-mouth confection with a soft peanut butter center coated in rich chocolate.

We were so excited for this place since it had great reviews & was at Relais & Chateaux property. They seated us in this lovely little corner next to a fireplace, but then forgot us basically. After about 45 minutes I went to find someone to take our drink order. After a while they brought us a cocktail & nothing else for basically an hour. Finally after about an hour & 15 minutes & after 3 different servers peaked around the corner looking at our table wondering why we were sitting there one of them came up to us & took our order & brought some water. Then another 45ish minutes go by & still no food & finally another waitress comes up to us & apologizes saying the food was on the way & that they had miscommunications about who was serving us. She quickly brings us a charcuterie platter & a complimentary glass of red wine she asked if we wanted dessert when we haven't even had our entree, just complete confusion at this place at all levels. No one there seemed to have any idea what was going on. We finally got our food about 2 hours after we got there. I will say our cocktail, the wine, & the food was excellent. The service was very subpar. Alyssa did her absolute best to salvage it after she found out what was happening & she is the sole reason that the restaurant is getting 3 stars & service 2 stars. She even provided us with a cool spot to go to for an after dinner drink. We thank her for the great service & hospitality, but everyone else there needs to get their act together. We always look for the Relais & Chateaux symbol because it's normally a standard of excellence no matter where in the world you are. Bar Artefact doesn't meet that standard based on our visit.

Absolutely amazing bar. We sat by the fireplace, read books & had the best hot chocolate & scones. Can't recommend this place enough! What a gem!

Service was super slow & the staff were disorganized & taking it too easy while in a what seemed to be a busy time We came for cocktails - had one round w oysters - that was great. Cancelled our second cocktail bc service was too slow. We sat there watching servers just chatting away behind the bar. Our server was sweet & was just helping out - felt bad for her. We were likely their easiest table given we didn't eat dinner. The bar itself is beautiful within the also beautiful auberge st Antoine.

Deux belles expériences dans ce bar ! Des digestifs entre amis avec une belle sélection de scotch 🥃 La deuxième fois autour d'un café ☕️ Sympathique ambiance. Seul bémol : ils ne savent pas faire un chocolat chaud !
