In the heart of Old Québec, Bar Artefact brings together signature cocktails and light sharing plates, in a décor where every object tells a story. Saturdays and Sundays, from 2 to 4 pm, enjoy our tea time: an assortment of sweet and savory bites.

About

Offering a glimpse into Quebec’s past, Bar Artefact is the perfect place for enjoying a light meal and signature drinks from one of the city’s most creative cocktail menus, while surrounded by artefacts preserved in time. The bar showcases relics unearthed on site during a recent excavation dig, such as the Dauphine Battery and window displays filled with objects dating back from six distinct eras in our property’s history.

Cet après-midi de thé à l'anglaise était une partie du cadeau de Noël pour ma conjointe & elle a beaucoup apprécié. Tout était impeccable. Nourriture, ambiance, service & décor. L'endroit est exceptionnel pour celles & ceux qui aime les endroits historique.

Sérieux c'est le même Contre-Filet de Boeuf que j'ai mangé de ma vie. La petite sauce est vraiment savoureuse & les légumes justes wow !!! Je vous conseille vraiment ce resto. La décoration & l'ambiance sont au rendez-vous. Je lui donne une étoile Michelin. :)

Nous avons passé un agréable moment au restaurant. Les plats étaient délicieux & les cocktails vraiment excellents. La décoration est également très jolie & originale, ce qui ajoute beaucoup de charme à l'endroit. Cependant, nous avons rencontré quelques difficultés avec le service. Bien que le restaurant ne soit pas très fréquenté ce jour-là, le service a été très lent. La serveuse venait rarement nous voir, ce qui a limité notre consommation. Aussi, les tables étant très proches les unes des autres, l'intimité était quelque peu réduite. & les voisin peuvent se mêler facilement au conversation des autres.

Je connaissais déjà chez Muffy pour y avoir expérimenté un brunch & il y a longtemps que j'attendais une occasion pour aussi aller à l'Artefact. Une première rencontre, un café, un dessert... Mon accompagnatrice & moi-même avons tout apprécié. Le décor, l'ambiance calme & feutrée, le dessert original & savoureux, le service attentioné. Nous recommandons & reviendrons!

On nous a ignoré un peu dans notre coin, à attendre le service, mais c'est bien passé. Le charr était plutôt ordinaire en goût & un peu trop cuit, l'assiette manquait de couleur (terne, pas de décoration genre compote tomates cerises, mais bon). Entrée de poireaux délicieux. Un beau moment.

Première visite au Jardin chez Muffy & non la dernière. Pour la fraîcheur & la qualité des aliments. Pour le Service courtois & attentionné & belle recommandation du sommelier.
