In the heart of Old Québec, Bar Artefact brings together signature cocktails and light sharing plates, in a décor where every object tells a story. Saturdays and Sundays, from 2 to 4 pm, enjoy our tea time: an assortment of sweet and savory bites.

About

Offering a glimpse into Quebec’s past, Bar Artefact is the perfect place for enjoying a light meal and signature drinks from one of the city’s most creative cocktail menus, while surrounded by artefacts preserved in time. The bar showcases relics unearthed on site during a recent excavation dig, such as the Dauphine Battery and window displays filled with objects dating back from six distinct eras in our property’s history.

Expérience très agréable, excellente bouffe & service impeccable & décontracté avec Chloé.
Seul petit bémol, en payant avec les cartes cadeaux on ne rembourse pas la différence alors que les autres restos le font à peu près tous. Nous y retournetons sûrement.

We had a wonderful time last night at Bar Artefact! Our server was wonderful, really fun & funny, & gave us wonderful service. We loved our drinks (they were delicious, high end & perfect), & the food was very good overall (fantastic oysters & charcuterie!): a couple more choices of entree would make it perfect. One of my dinner companions LOVED her salmon. Next time we are in Quebec city we will definitely come back.

Cocktail bien réalisé, mais le prix n'est pas justifié à mon avis. Service plutôt lent, c'était probablement une mauvaise journée, car il n'y avait que quelques clients, & nous avons attendu très longtemps avant de pouvoir payer l'addition.
Mention spéciale à la mayonnaise à la truffe.
