About

Offering a glimpse into Quebec’s past, Bar Artefact is the perfect place for enjoying a light meal and signature drinks from one of the city’s most creative cocktail menus, while surrounded by artefacts preserved in time. The bar showcases relics unearthed on site during a recent excavation dig, such as the Dauphine Battery and window displays filled with objects dating back from six distinct eras in our property’s history.

Soup of the day - excellent. Arctic char & root vegetables was also very good. If you eat with your eyes first this establishment will not disappoint!

Nice food at relatively reasonable prices. Great desserts. Wonderful service. Only downside is wine by the glass is expensive- cheapest white wine was $18.
