About

Offering a glimpse into Quebec’s past, Bar Artefact is the perfect place for enjoying a light meal and signature drinks from one of the city’s most creative cocktail menus, while surrounded by artefacts preserved in time. The bar showcases relics unearthed on site during a recent excavation dig, such as the Dauphine Battery and window displays filled with objects dating back from six distinct eras in our property’s history.

This is a very busy bar restaurant & the servers perform many jobs, but all that aside they managed to arrange a perfect dinner for me. In am vegan & no oil, Because of a heart issue. They were so accommodating. Elissa really helped us out. We had a delicious meal & stay at the hotel .

La décoration est également très jolie & originale, ce qui ajoute beaucoup de charme à l'endroit. Cependant, nous avons rencontré quelques difficultés avec le service. Bien que le restaurant ne soit pas très fréquenté ce jour-là, le service a été très lent. La serveuse venait rarement nous voir, ce qui a limité notre consommation. Aussi, les tables étant très proches les unes des autres, l'intimité était quelque peu réduite. & les voisin peuvent se mêler facilement au conversation des autres.

We had the most delightful lunch at the Artifact Bar & Grill. The Icelandic Cod dish with seasonal vegetables was delicious. Everything was excellent but even more so because of Emily our waitress. She took particular care in making sure we were happy with our tea selection. That may sound like a funny thing but my husband has specific taste where his tea is concerned & Emily Wall was a dear to make sure to get it prepared the way he liked it. That kind of service was very much appreciated & Emily was & is excellent with her customers. We highly recommend the Artifact Bar & Grill & when you're there ask for Emily. :-)

We make a point of eating at Bar Artefact every time we stay at the Auberge Saint-Antoine. The food has always been excellent, the staff pleasant & efficient, & we love the atmosphere.

Great place to spend an evening. Excellent service & good food. Loved the warm milk bread & beetroot salad. Their wine & drinks selection is great & if you are not sure, the friendly staff can make great suggestions.
