I used to love going to Batton Rouge for the ribs. It always felt like a classy steakhouse on my 20+ years of being a customer. Tonight was my first visit in several years & it was quite disappointing. We ordered shortly after the table next to us but received our food when they were almost done, 45 minutes after we ordered. We had to orders of ribs, kids pasta & kids burgers. None of them would have been more than a few minutes to prepare. My wife substituted fries for salad but they forgot & brought her fries. They then brought her a side salad to make up for it. My Pepsi was watered down by the time the food arrived as the ice had melted. When I finished it, I waited a while for the server to come by to be able to ask for a refill. By the time it came, after he had walked by us two more times, I had already finished my meal & asked him to remove it from the bill. When the bill was provided, the server mentioned he did not charge for the salad (why would he?) but the Pepsi was still on there. I asked him to remove it & he did. I don't know if they were short staffed tonight or this is normal, but their wait staff were all too busy to be attentive & it felt more like eating at a diner where they don't care if you have a comfortable & relaxing experience. I really hope they invest more in their customer service & get back to their roots.
J'ai pris un filet mignon, assiette a 50$
Dans mon assiette le filet mignon avec une pomme de terre garnie & quelques légumes,sauce a commander a part aucune salade.
Il ne change pas les prix,MAIS vous en avez moins dans votre assiette. Comment dire commander un steak & tu dois commander ta sauce en plus.
Par contre mon serveur était #1
Les saveurs étaient la.
Salade de filet de poulet ... pas mangeable, poulet tout mouillé, la salade vinaigrette goûtait bizarre, un paquet de salade mélangé avec juste des coeurs d'artichauts , à éviter... pas prête d'y retourner .

Nous avons mangé au restaurant Bâton Rouge situé tout près des Galeries de la Capitale à Québec & l'expérience a été globalement très bonne.
Ma salade était excellente : fraîche, bien garnie & savoureuse. De son côté, Luc a pris les ribs ; la saveur était bonne, mais la viande était malheureusement un peu sèche ce soir-là.
Le service mérite une mention spéciale : le serveur était très attentionné & sympathique. Nous sommes arrivés avant le rush du souper, ce qui a rendu l'ambiance plus calme & agréable.
Une bonne adresse à Québec, pratique après une sortie aux Galeries de la Capitale, avec un service chaleureux. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter, en espérant une cuisson plus tendre pour les ribs la prochaine fois.
Dommage, les prix ont montés mais la qualité a fait une chute. Je suis une ancienne cliente, la qualité à trop diminué. Filet mignon raide & presque pas d'épices alors que je l'ai demandé, pomme de terre sans beurre & salade césar sans huile pour césar. Il faut tout payer à part, meme un bol de sauce d'environ 1.5 onces. Tres ordinaire, je comprend que tout a montés, ce n'est pas une raison de diminuer la qualité. On ira ailleurs & votre resto deviendra un petit resto banal de centre d'achat.
We reserved for a Saturday night, & when we arrived there was no waiting time for us, which was a great start.
We ordered their mac & cheese as an entree. To our surprise, it was a creamy alfredo sauce with breadcrumbs that was baked. It wasn't terrible, not particularly bursting with flavours & definitely not what we were expecting since it wasnt a real mac & cheese.
My husband ordered the ribs & lobster tail.
The lobster tail had VERY little meat on it, like 2-3 bites, & for the cost of $25, doesn't seem worth it. Again in terms of flavour, it wasn't terrible but was definitely not bursting with flavours.
The ribs came in a decent quantity (10 ribs for 1 rack), they were tender, but very bland. Not impressive, as they are known to be a grillhouse…
The caesar salad was an average quantity. There was more vinegar in the sauce than expected, which wasn't terrible but yet again not a traditional caesar salad flavour.
The waitress Émie was really sweet & regularly checked up on us, which was a positive part of our experience.
-La sopa de cebolla fue más pan que cualquier otra cosa.
-El contre filet estaba reseco casi quemado por fuera.
- La mesera fue muy amable.
-La salsa de pimienta estaba súper salada y oscura. Muy distinta a la de Bâton Rouge de St. Bruno.
-La carne de Bâton Rouge de Brossard siempre está en su punto. Deliciosa.
Hubby & I went a supper outing while on vacation. Lovely waitress, Amie. Our only upset was the food arriving all together. We had ordered a bottle of wine, appetizers, side salads & mains. To me that says an evening out not fast food dining.
J'aime beaucoup les chaînes de restaurants Baton Rouge mais surtout celui-ci. Lorsque je passe par Québec en affaire, je m'assure de toujours m'arrêter ici pour leur salade Thaï avec boeuf, riz & de salade de chou. Leur vinaigrette est excellente! J'adore le service & le stationnement est vraiment facile puisqu'il sont situés dans un centre d'achat. Je vous le recommande fortement!
