Ambiance parfaite, service impeccable, les plats ont été plus qu'a la hauteur. Seule note négative, c'est qu'on a plus ou moins aimé les canollis pour dessert...

We visited Tuesday the 18th of September & Sunday the 23rd. Bello provides a great experience along with great food. The servers work very well together without being overbearing.

Some of the Tuesday highlights: Arancini appetizer excellent, smoked salmon excellent (unless you're one who prefers a more "cooked" fish). Veal Scallopini with mushrooms was the best scallopini I've ever had & their risotto with shrimp was excellent. Tiramisu dessert was presented imaginatively in a small canning jar & just like the entrees was excellent.

Sunday's meal was every bit as good. Fried calamari appetizer was a very generous portion presented with a nice remoulade sauce. Ceasar salad for two was very nicely presented. We each did 1/2 orders of pasta (so glad they have the 1/2 option). The lobster ravioli was incredible & the seafood linguini was great.

Service was perfectly paced, that very fine balance between "no rushing" & no waiting for what comes next. If your server becomes involved with a larger table there's another who will stop by to keep everything on track.

It's hard to say if we were more impressed by the food or by the teamwork & professionalism.

Bello is on St Louis, a few blocks away from the crowded St Jean street. It's well worth making a reservation & doing the uphill walk from St Jean street.

Only one small quibble: be aware that many restaurants suggest a tip on the subtotal before taxes, Bello's suggested amounts are based on the total with taxes. Easy enough for a decision if you look at the amounts.

Love Bello! It was our Honeymoon! We were treated to complimentary champagne & dessert! We went twice on this trip! Food, atmosphere, staff everything was excellent!

This was our first time dining at Bello & we would not return. It seems they want to crowd as many people as possible into the back dining area, serve the meal as quickly as possible, & have you leave so that they can seat the next customers. Our waitress was not very friendly & gave us the bill at the same time she served the dessert. The food was just mediocre & the red wine served too cold. Overall not a positive dining experience.

Très beau restaurant, belle acceuille & très bon service. Nous nous sommes régaler de l'entrée jusqu'au dessert, ( le gâteau Il bello) de quoi à vous mettre l'eau à la bouche!!! J'y retournerais sans hésitation!!!

My partner & I visited Bello while vacationing in Quebec City. We both love Italian cuisine, & so we decided to make a reservation*. The risotto was by far the best thing we ordered, & I would highly recommend the giant tiger risotto. My partner ordered the seared tuna dish, & it was terrific as well. Their wine list was extensive, as was their dessert menu. This is a great place for a romantic dinner, & I would recommend sitting on the terrace, as the view is quite lovely.

*This restaurant books up fast, so make sure to reserve a table in advance.

Food is good overall. The portion is big. The price is reasonable. We tried tiramisu for dessert but it doesn't taste very well. The place is very crowded & so better make reservation in advance.

Notre serveur a été courtois & attentionné, sauf quand est venu le temps de nous recommander un vin dans notre gamme de prix qui était entre 60$ & 70$.
Je trouve personnellement qu'il a manqué de connaissance & eu une attitude peu hautain face à notre demande, ce qui provoqua un petit malaise à la table.

Pour le reste ce fut excellent, nos plats, dessert & petites attentions des employés.
Une première fois réussi & une très belle expérience culinaire.
