Liked the vibe of the restaurant & the servers were all very friendly & professional. This was definitely 1 of our best meals over our stay. We started with the arancini & Caesar salad. My husband had the rigatoni meat sauce & I had the clams pasta. Both were very delicious. Julien was a fantastic server - humorous, helpful, & professional. Would definitely recommend Bello. *My only suggestion to the team is to'slow the roll' some. The speed of which the food comes out could be paced a bit slower for greater customer enjoyment.

The pasta & risotto dishes were pretty good (the sauces rich, the pasta firm if a little molto al dente) & the barolo flavoursome if not the most robust of vintage.

Service & presentation was overall lacking & generally felt a bit rushed & frosty.

Came here with friends & really enjoyed the experience. We walked from our nearby hotel but parking would be a problem so maybe use car service.

The staff are friendly, professional & multilingual. Menus in French & English.

They have a nice selection of well made cocktails, I enjoyed the limoncello spritz. The wine selection is also very good.

I started with the tuna tartare which was delicious. I then half order of the rigatoni with Bolognese sauce, also delicious. Wife enjoyed the Cesar salad & the carbonara.

Overall a wonderful dining experience. If you visit Quebec & love Italian food you will be glad you dined here.

Mes carbonara malgré mon extra sauce étaient trop épaisses, le plat & la sauce pas vraiment liquide ont peut être resté trop longtemps en attente avant d'être servi, d'habitude ce plat est excellent

Les plats de pâtes étaient bons, sans plus! Cependant les prix sont abusifs pour la quantité ! Les rigatoni arrabiata al gambaretti ne le sont en fait pas du tout & les Fettucini ai funghi à l'huile de truffe n'ont pas cette saveur délicate de truffes. Ceux qui recherchent l'ambiance italienne ne l'auront pas. L'ambiance musicale est du style house chill malgré une ambiance lumineuse agréable. Oubliez le pain pour la sauce & les olives comme apéritif. Si on se prétend restaurant italien, autant y aller à fond en rendant l'expérience immersive & authentique de certaines régions d'Italie. Juste des plats de pâtes & des pizzas coûteuses au feu de bois ne justifient pas l'appellation de restaurant italien.

Wow! If you need a reason to dress up & treat yourself, this Is probably the place to go! The food here was excellent! The service was great, the staff were so kind & helpful.

Its my first time trying Bello. It was after a hike today so I was kind of looking forward to this meal.

But I personally think the taste is not what we expected.

Calamari Fritti - Mediocre Calamari fried; the sauce in the middle of the plate was yum.

French Onion Soup - Oh no, it's my first time have a French Onion Soup with such a strong taste of white wine, like the wine is not evaporated at all… It basically took away all the taste of the caramelised onion…

Squid Ink Linguine with Seafood - the seafood was very fresh & delicious. The Linguine was ok. Not very spectacular.

Cabonara Risotto - Hmmm I dont know how to put it. The wine taste is also too strong for me… I was expecting something more creamy but it was a bit disappointing. I couldn't taste the egg yolk & the cheese. Just wine…

All in all, this is not somewhere I would revisit. Maybe you can try something else that's mentioned in other reviews.

Nice location & patio. Staff were attentive. Food came out quick. Calamari was very good. Rigatoni carbonara was ok. Have had better carbonara. The sauce had a bechemel flavour.

This was our last night in Quebec city. We had walked by the restaurant earlier in the day & the menu looked good so we made a reservation for later that night. We got there about 10 minutes early & the restaurant was actually quite lively! When we walked in, it was very warm inside. Even though the windows were open, it would've been nice if they had some fans blowing the air around. Air conditioning would've been better, but I guess everybody doesn't have that in Quebec city. With the air being so warm it made it very uncomfortable in the restaurant. I don't know how the wait staff was running around like they were, they were working very hard. Anyway, my partner set it out with a glass of wine & I just had a diet Pepsi. He ordered bread & he ate all of it, I passed on bread tonight. We both shared the meatball appetizer & we thought the meatballs & the sauce were very good. The tomato sauce was very simple & very tasty. My partner ordered the rigatoni & sausage & I had the rigatoni with Bolognese sauce. Both dishes were excellent. We ordered half portions because we were super hungry. Nice restaurant, & if we're ever back in the city, we will check it out again.

J'ai été très déçue par mon expérience au Bello. Ayant eu la chance de manger un peu partout dans le monde, parfois dans de simples gargotes, je m'attendais à bien mieux d'un restaurant de cette gamme. La nourriture était franchement fade, sans aucun relief.
En entrée, les calmars frits étaient sans goût & trop gras. Le pavé de saumon de mon époux manquait totalement de saveur, accompagné d'une sauce trop liquide. Quant à mon escalope de veau aux champignons, elle était extrêmement fine, & la sauce, elle aussi, ratée. Pour ne rien arranger, un cheveu a été trouvé dans les pâtes d'accompagnement… Certes, le plat a été repris, & l'équipe s'est excusée en m'offrant une entrée à base de pesto, j'apprécie le geste, mais même celle-ci était fade, je me demande encore comment on peut rendre un pesto aussi insipide!?
Le seul point positif : le service. Contrairement à d'autres commentaires, j'ai trouvé le personnel très aimable & professionnel.

En résumé : un rapport qualité-prix inexistant. À ce prix-là, on s'attend à beaucoup mieux. C'est clair que je n'y remettrai pas les pieds lors d'un prochain passage à Québec.
