Went for lunch. Service was top notch. Shared a large Caesar salad...was excellent had Dijon in dressing...interesting twist...& was super large. Then shared clam pasta...super tasty, fantastic.

My husband & I are visiting from out of province. We brought our dog with us this time on our trip. We were looking for an Italian restaurant that did Take-Out! (As many restaurants do not-which can be challenging) We came across Bello & I am so happy we ordered from here. We ordered the Cesar Salad for 2, the Rigatoni Pasta Carbonara & the Pizza Al Funghi! Everything was $118 & worth every dollar! The flavor & the freshness were amazzzzzzzzing! I highly recommend it! While waiting for my food at the restaurante I saw a group of 4 who had a reservation come in. The staff member let them know their table will be ready in 5 minutes. While they waited, the hostess served them a glass of champagne! Like that's what you call class & service done well! I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know who may be visiting Quebec city!

A good friend recommended that we make a reservation for dinner. Which is a good idea ahead of time. We were taken in right away & the atmosphere surrounded us right away. Our server was Daevon. He was absolutely the best server I have ever experienced. He was so attentive & friendly & yes English is spoken. As well as Daevon, so was Maxine! She was very attentive, our water was always filled. The both of them work well together as we watch them both work together at setting up other tables as the night went on. My husband & I surely enjoyed our experience at IL Bello. From the starter cocktails to the end with an espresso & digestive, the entire evening was a delight. We shared the Capesante Al Pastis - scallops flambeed. Hubby had the Tagliatelle All' Anatra - pasta & duck confit. I had the Rissotto Al Gameretto - rice rosotto with tiger shrimp in a white wine sauce. All dishes were over the top & the portions were just perfect. Absolutely recommended this resturant. Very impressed & very satisfied!! Chef kiss.

We really enjoyed Bello, after a bad experience at Parmesan we decided to try Bello & they did not disappoint, the food was delicious, service outstanding & the atmosphere was great! The bill was also cheaper than Parmesan with the food & service being 10x better. 11/10 definitely recommend. We had the squid ink pasta, aroncini, calamari, & duck confit pasta. Will definitely be back again on our next visit to Quebec City!

Ich hatte den Thunfisch auf Quinoasalat und es war absolut 👍 geschmackvoll. Der Fisch hätte ein klein wenig mer Gewürz vertragen, aber ansonsten sehr, sehr lecker. Ambiente sehr chic und der Service freundlich. Meiner Partnerin hat Pasta gegessen, tadellos fein.

Slow & inattentive service, mediocre food. Not sure how this place had high rating .. After I was seated outside, I was ignored for more than 10-15 mins .. not given menu, water, etc .. I got annoyed & had to ask for it. & this how it went the rest of the dinner, I had to ask for everything .. napkins, water, check .. the waiters seemed more interested chatting with some customers & ignoring the others. Food was mediocre at best, how is this place got 4.5 stars The scallop was overcooked & sauce was too sour. The pasta sauce way too too rich .. not much flavors. Avoid this place .. better go elsewhere.

Dinner with one colleague . I think the food is good, but not the best Italian restaurant... Pasta is good & is cooked well maybe the taste can be better ( in the clams one there were too much onions for no reasons .. The tuna is a good plate & taste good & healthy. Service is good ( we ate at the bar) They have a wood hoven for the pizza 🍕

Very disappointing after receiving a recommendation from our tour guide. Had to wait for 5 mins at the entrance to be seen by a server despite the place being relatively quiet. Brought to an "indoor" table which had no air con & was wide open to the outside. Server seemed disinterested & short with us. We were then swarmed with flies for the duration of our meal with several of them flying into my beer. When I asked for this to be replaced, they didn't seem to think there was an issue initially. My partner's pasta was average & not particularly fresh. I find it odd that this place comes so highly regarded, it was in all honesty below average & not in any way worth its current price point.

I ordered the seafood pasta, & it was so good! There's a variety of seafood, & it blends well with the squid ink pasta. I also loved the service & atmosphere. It was quiet, & they served you well! I will definitely recommend coming here:)

Amazing food & great atmosphere! The staff were very welcoming & friendly. The calamari is one of the best I've had! Pasta Rigatoni Carbonara is excellent with the right combination of shrimp & prawns. Quite delightful.
